| My friend wants to know. I thought it might be a bleeding heart but it also looks sorta like a bird of paradise |

Post on the name that plant forum they are amazing. I go back and check out plants there a lot. I think it is some kind of bromeliad |

| The Name That Plant did it again! It was identified as Aechmea chantinii, a bromiliad, by saltcedar. He's one of the wizards in the forum. |
