Pesto chicken salad. This has chicken, Romain lettuce, tomato, sliced olives, mozzarella cheese, sliced mushrooms, pasta shells with the pesto sauce. Easy breezy!

That sounds like a lot of work to me, jasdip.

A while back, one of the posters on a dinner thread said they had spanish rice. I put that on my list to have, and finally had it tonight, along with cottage cheese, and followed up with an Amish buttermilk cookie I had in the freezer.

It has been very hot here today. My supper was a fried egg sandwich with tomato and bacon on it. Plus iced tea to drink and a piece of butterscotch pie.

Probably leftover strawberry chicken salad from Wendy's. I bought it last night after work. The tiny packet of sunflower seeds that came with it are gone. So, today I made some candied pecans. Taking one bag with me tomorrow to see Lauren when I give her back her phone Alex fixed. Putting a few on the leftover salad for dinner.

I picked up some wonderful Cajun smoked sausage from a little local meat market in Louisiana when there. I always try to make it by there to stock up on fresh made meat goodies.
Tonight I sliced up some of the sausage with a Vidalia onion and chopped red potatoes and fresh garlic, all in a skillet sautéed together.
Here it is cooking right now.

Cloudy skies made it up to comfy 90, til thunder & lightning cracked open the clouds for some rain. Glad I mowed the hayfield yesterday evening when it was a cool 83. Now enjoying Happy Hour after a quick shopping trip. Admitted to a convenience food, frozen Lasagna is much cheaper than making. Tasty, and enough for several meals with no hassle. A selection of sweets, why have just one?

Lovely day here in CT where we are visiting daughter and 2grandsons. We had grilled sirloin steak, mashed potatoes, locally grown corn on the cob and tomatoes.

Chicken vegetable (only those from the garden) barley soup. Since I put in a couple of shishito peppers in there, it was spicy. T counter than, we had lemon pudding.

Rains just came through about one inch of rain in the past hour and temp dropped from 94 to 74! So much better. However, the forecast for tomorrow is more of what we had this morning.

If I had to get down on my hands and knees to scrub, you would both still be there trying to get me up!
DH made goulash. I just had a couple of bites of pickled herring.

Shirley, Spanish rice sounds good. I make one version in the slow cooker, with ground beef.

Sue, I like my fried egg sandwiches with tomato as well, and bacon when we have it.

Kath, I used to like the Southwestern Salad from McD's. Haven't had one of them in a couple of years now.

Raven, I love that skillet dish. One-dish meals are so handy.

OF, as you said, frozen lasagna is way easier than making one from scratch!

Jim, veggie soup and lemon pudding! Yum! We're in for the high temps tomorrow as well with high humidity. 30C but feeling much hotter with the humidity.

A simple supper of cold salmon salad on a bed of bibb lettuce, sliced tomatoes. I also boiled up some corn which tasted pretty darned good.
