Toss up between french toast, sausage links and eggs or Pioneer Woman's Sesame Noodles, all doctored up with chicken and lots of veggies!

I am thinking of making my stuffed meatloaf for dinner and oven roasted red potatoes. I need to get motivated though. Lol

Big time potluck for my water aerobics group. I was in charge, per usual, and had the largest number in attendance ever. 46 Lots of food and variety, no repeats.

Y furnished and grilled the chicken, group brought the potluck dishes.

They surprised me with a birthday cake, and tons of cards, plus $175 in restaurant certificates. My birthday had passed but I so enjoyed celebrating it again! :o)

My mouth wide open as I was making an announcement. :o)

We had cheeseburgers on the little grill. I also cut some potatoes in wedges and nuked them a bit. Then put them in an aluminum dish slathered in olive oil and spices and cooked them on the grill.

I did not feel like eating much so just some tomato soup and crackers. Have a great meal Shirley and don't forget my to go box!

Weather changed the menu, and made a small cauldron of beef vegetable noodle soup. No, you don't need meat to make a good soup. But you do need something for Happy Hour while the cooking is in process.

Here at my DD in Michigan we are having Knoephla Soup. It only got up to 59 here today so soup sounds really good.

You better post a detailed review of what you had, Shirley! Bet it will be delish!

Angelaid....what meal won? I'd be tempted with breakfast, but the other sounds great, too.

Jasdip, ya just can't beat a good grilled burger! I have a grill basket that we use for veggies, fruit, and fish.....grilled potato wedges are so yummy.

Sue...I've been thinking about tomato soup lately. I may have to make some soon, now that tomatoes are coming in like gangbusters. Add a little fresh basil and cream......oh my! So good.

We had leftover chicken from our kabobs last night and I chopped it up with some celery and onions to make a nice chicken salad for flour tortilla wraps. Added some sliced almonds and grapes, too.

Knoephla sounds like gnocchi....which I love. (I had to look it up.) Sounds delectable.

Sorry that your having non-beach weather, OF, but you never miss a happy hour, lol.

Earlier this evening, the adorable little girl from across the street came over wanting to know if we wanted to buy Snickerdoodle cookies for fifty cents. So I ordered 6 and off she ran to her house to wrap them up, hot from the oven, and delivered them to the door.

We had one for dessert, a very nice treat. She is the most precious and precocious child. :-)
