Here's what I'm taking to potluck, today!

Regular monthly potluck luncheon.

I like to take "different" things to share.

So I made Ina Garten's tea sandwiches: cranberry/walnut bread from Whole Food, spread with whipped cream cheese and chopped scallions and a thin slice of smoked deli turkey

Plus tequilla marinated cherry tomatoes that I poked small holes in with a toothpick: tequilla, sea salt, parsley flakes, olive oil, lime juice

I'm dressed and ready to go!

See ya!

Outstanding foods, today!

These received ravs:

hot corn dip

homemade applesauce

fresh corn and vine ripe tomatoes from a members garden

best dessert: ricotta cheesecake with oreo crust

We had 17 and everything was delicious but these were tops.

Friend asked to take my remaining fingers sandwiches home with her :o)

I love the sound of your sandwiches, Glenda. You had quite a spread today and everything sounds so good. I'd love some homemade applesauce.

How was that hot corn dip? I have Trisha Yearwood's recipe but haven't been anyplace to take it--and I sure don't need that temptation around :-) Everyone raves over it, or so I hear.

patti, Trisha Yearwoods hot corn dip is really good.

Glenda, made me want to be at your luncheon, too. Love making new food items to share.

I went to a tea that had delicious finger sandwiches. The recipe was 1 packet of Italian salad dressing (powder) mixed with 1 container of cream cheese, topped with a thin slice of cucumber on top of a toast point. Easy and yummy!
