Zyperiris, the odds were/are so bad with that many around. They are not aggressive which is a plus. I have a neighbor who is afraid of everything. Like if you have a tree she thinks it is going to fall on the house so she cuts it down! Has traps all over for rats, as if the neighborhood is infested, not. I don't thik she has a bug in her yard! When I moved into my house, ten years ago, she told me horror stories of Eucalyptus trees, branches breaking when kids are swinging, roots so shallow they fall over with no warning. My one giant tree is a Eucalyptus! ( I have always figured if something like that ever happens I have insurance! Not the kid falling from the swing, the tree falling down.haha) Can you imagine her hearing me almost daily out there "hah, I knew it(!), egg sacs", torch lighting, "now where are YOU hiding, I will find you...ahah! told you! I knew you were around here". Torch lights again..LOL I can't believe she hasn't said anything! I hope I am knocking down the population a bit for goodness sake! You know what they are like? Daddy long legs, everywhere! Except outside! Whew.

I have a Mac, but assume this would work on a MS system as well. I keep two documents called MISC open at the bottom of my computer. One is a word processing document and the other is a draw program document. (I use the free Libre Office suite.) Whenever I have a long email I first compose it in Word and then copy and paste. It's also handy when I post the same reply in many places on Facebook. The drawing program is handy when I want to copy and paste an image from the web. Amd either is also handy for copying and pasting text from the web, as well. I also can relate to spending considerable time composing an email only to lose it. Not fun!

I have spent the entire day doing more research in this forum, helpmefind and concerning what happened to my roses. I definitely do think I damaged more than the DARes - with that extra spray routine I did on Monday with Daconil and Malathion. The reason is that I sprayed a lone climber far away from the rose garden and when I checked it this morning - it had the same burnt at the edge of the leaf look to a couple of it's leaves. It is Climbing Blaze and really only two leaves looked burnt. I have just about decided to no longer even spray for insects and would like to think I could do the same for fungus/black spot. Unfortunately - I had another problem crop up today. I posted pictures in another thread of my round Drift garden (3 years old) and the damaged buds on every bush. This happened literally overnight. I am waiting for opinions from this same forum and hope you all will go take a look. I fear spider mites. I am sure no animal ate the tops of these tiny buds out - a rabbit would have to be pretty crafty and agile to manage getting just the tops and not damaging any branches. I also have read so much about using oils - but not to use them if the temperature gets too hot - well, it was 85 here the last two days. I will NOT be spraying malathion or Daconil anymore - these leaves look so messed up and I only can hope that the bushes will recover. i am still getting yellowing at the bottoms of many of my bushes and pulling off the yellow leaves as they drop or turn completely yellow. I did water with a strong stream every bush this morning - thinking that possibly some of the insecticide/fungicide spray I sprayed on Monday would possibly be removed. Thank you everyone for any advice and attention you have given this issue. I know I am having beginners problems and with my bare root garden - if they can just make it to growing a healthy root system - maybe they will survive all of this. The dirt was prepared very well by my husband - who is a total green thumb and Biologist - but he says roses are over his head!! Thank you! Denise

Thanks David, I did consider separates (and am still). I know Axor has one sold as a separate but it's just under $2k. They don't make the separates easy to lookup either. It's a good suggestion though. It looks like it comes down to the extra cost of a volume trim and rough as the temperature valve is about the same cost of the all-in-one pieces. It also gets rid of the crowding problem I see in the all-in-one's. They have one big lever and the others are tiny. The Delta/Brizo temp settings look a little in the way of the volume setting. I assume the temp valves can deal with having the volume downstream well enough. So on the temp valve, do you just get the pressure balanced model or thermostatic ?
