Wearing my red

Today. All who need it are in my thoughts and prayers. I will also be wearing it tomorrow in support of our troops. Good thing I have lots of red in my closet!

For whom are you wearing red today? I know the American Heart Association has Go Red for Women and like you said, the Red for Troops on Fridays.

RE: Wearing my red

A lot of us on the KT started wearing red on Thursdays as a way for our members to remember that we all were praying for them and encouraging them in their fight against cancer. It's been awhile since we've posted about it and I thought it was time to mention it again.

Thanks Tami for putting this one in the foreground of our thinking again.

You are welcome. I just thought it was time to start reminding each other again since we've had a few members recently diagnosed. I think it's just one small thing we can do for each other. I don't remember who started it, or why the color was chosen, but what matters is the thought.

Thanks, Tami. It's a nice, thoughtful thing to do. I happen to have red on today. I seem to have a lot of red in my closet, too. Cheers to our troops!!!

Patti, you are welcome. Please remember that you are in my prayers daily, but especially thought of on Thursdays!
