A bumblebee on the cultivated variety of Meadowsweet

These were at the restaurant where my lunch group met.
They're Coatimundi or Tejon in Mexico.

An unknown bee on a cone flower. I might guess that those yellow legs are from pollen, but it appears that they are a solid color, not just something clinging. Otherwise I would say a honeybee; however, I have not seen very many this summer (maybe because of our long and cold winter?).

Pictures taken on a kayaking trip around Camden Harbor. I was nervous the entire trip because the camera I had was not water proof.

Most of the trip wasn't too bad but outside the harbor the water was was much rougher even on this relatively calm day, making the pictures of the lighthouse somewhat dicey.

Nicole, it looks as if there's a light shining from the middle of that flower. Beautiful!! The color is gorgeous.
