sublingual Vitamin B12 pills.... reaction anyone?
Comments (18)The pills I have are too small I think to try & split; I will try the flush-free niancin pills again though. Yes, I think a lot of it has to do to heridity also: I am out in the sun (no sunscreen/tan-no burn... ashamed to say!) some days 6 hrs. at a time & live at a mile high, hot summers/cold winters, arid area- zone 7. Still, after taking 5,000 IU of Dry Vitamin D-3 daily my levels are on the 'low' side but bone density still OK! Daughter-in-law is a therapist & believes in alternative medicine ... herbs, 'tapping' etc.& I am western medicine trained so find it hard to accept/understand some of it. The mfg.& testing of those things is not scrutinized as well here in the U.S.as prescriptiom drugs are I feel! Our doctor is from Pakistan & he will suggest some things like tumeric capsules, the B12, etc. but doesn't push it. Mediterranean diet? we don't care for seafood nor olive oil, wine... but the fruit, etc. OK! One study of a group of close knit people in a small mediterranean village had one of the highest blood lipid levels on record ... & also very long & healthy lengivities! Go figure?!...See MoreFriday's question (since Sandy might have problems again)
Comments (25)Three glucosamine and controiton, one calcium, two vitamin C in the winter only, one multi vitamin, generic lipitor, generic algera and once a month boniva is my regimen. I take one glucosamine in the morning, one at noon and one at night. The C get split up between morning and night, the multi goes at noon, and the lipitor and alegra are also night time pills. Boniva has to be taken in the morning on an empty stomach, with 6 to 8 ounces of water (Sally won't tell you all that). Afterwards you have to stay upright, as in no bending down, or laying down for one hour, and no food either for that time. I forgot to get me a refill on Boniva last week. Darn insurance won't let you get several at the time. Thus I had to go this morning and get them, and take them which puts me two hours behind in everything. One waiting for the drugstore to open, and one waiting for breakfast time. That is how I came up with the question I asked today. Moni PS, I have a weekly container as well, but dump the daily amount in a tiny stainless steel bowl that sits on my counter in plain sight. By evening it just has to be empty :)...See Moredo you take cabinets all the way to the end of the wall?
Comments (12)kitchen-reno, good point about countertop protruding and hip bruising. And Romy718, also good point about crown molding and base molding sticking out. Maybe 2-3 inches would be optimal, less than the 5-6 that is in the plans now. And may I hijack my own thread to say I adore your kitchen, Romy718! The wall color, the cabinets, the countertop, and backsplash, all coordinate so beautifully! Do you by chance remember your wall color and backsplash tile? I am thinking of doing something similar as your color scheme, and if mine turned out 1/2 as nice I'd be a happy camper. :-)...See MoreTake a ride in the way back machine GW 2002!
Comments (11)You can choose the year at the top right, it doesn't mean that a post was removed it just means that some posts were not captured and saved by the spiders back then. That's how it goes for a lot of stuff on there. There's a forum I was on years ago that has been gone for a while now but I can go back and still see a few things that were saved and remember some of the people. I think it's a fun time to go back and see what was going on back then....See Moreellendi
