Get together at Hayjud's

This afternoon we went to Judy's for a get together. Kay who has been a lurker forever joined us. She has come to several other gatherings. She is such a fun gal, I wish she would come out of lurkdome and post. She already knows so much about everyone here at the KT.

Caroline from ND came in last evening and spent the night with us here in the motor home. She is staying with us again tonight. We sure do enjoy her company.

There was plenty of food, Tom grilled chicken and there was also potato salad, quinoa salad, baked beans and for dessert cake with ice cream.

The guys spent the whole afternoon with us too. They seemed to have a good time. Us gals kept chatting for hours, it was so much fun.

Well, we had a wonderful visit. Nita is just as everyone describes--and she really does give great hugs. Carol is cute as can be and so comfortable to be around. I really enjoyed their visit and so did Harry. For lunch we had ham salad, tarragon chicken salad and egg salad sandwiches, a pasta salad, tomato-feta salad and for dessert raspberry trifle. I can't believe we talked for over four hours--the time just flew by. The weather was cold and rainy but it was sunny and warm in my house today!

I'm still sick. I can't walk into the kitchen as I get very sick. So I dont eat unless someone us here to get it for me thank goodness I have wonderful friends. Jesse took off work and we will go to the doctor tomorrow. I haven't even been outside since a week ago Friday. I don't know if I will have to go to the hospital or nor. I will have my I-phone with me so I can be in touch.

nanny. The loon can probably defend her egg pretty well from a muskrat. I have read/heard somewhere that they will jab you and can cause a pretty nasty injury from that pointed beak and you should never approach one, especially one that may be defending a nest. I found a sick loon on shore of a lake a few years ago. Its body is about the size of a Canadian goose so it's probably pretty strong. I just wish they would stay closer to the nest to keep those nasty muskrats away, they probably would eat the egg. As soon as she finishes laying the batch of eggs they will not hardly leave the nest.

Hi everybody!
We had so much fun getting together with KT friends! Phyllis and Joan, it was feeling wrong not having you there. The weather was absolutely perfect,and I was glad we could be outside.

LOL, thanks for the lawn compliment! We live in an association and the crew comes every Thur to take care of the lawn. The dead bushes you can see behind us belong to a neighbor.
