James Martin is the line carried by Max Furniture and other sellers including Premiere Vanities in California. I think the Max Furniture must be where it all comes from. Not sure. I ordered a pretty 48" antique white "distressed" vanity (model Model # 0M-173) last Fall from Premiere. Sales staff was helpful and good. I was able to both talk on the phone and email. Changed my mind about color choice /ship date a few times and they were easy to work with--amending my days old order. I wasnt ready to install it immediately upon arrival so it has been stored. Upon receipt, I opened packaging to check for damage during shipment. Both the vanity and the topical brown countertop arrived in good shape. The cardboard box reads "James Martin" and "made in China". Its February now, and I have taken it out of storage and into the light and this is what I see -- a very bad "distressing" job. The paint is not really distressed, which is fine with me. As far as I can tell, the "distressing" consists of 3" long shallow grooves regularly spaced on the door stiles and cabinet panels. They really look dumb and I want to fill them. The paint and corners are not worn, which I prefer, but there are two different shades of white. The two side legs and bottom are a whiter white than the doors and panels --which are a greener white. There is also a fingerprint in the finish on the right side near the top back--in an inconspicuous spot, but its there. The finish in the corners and crevices of the panels is slightly grainy in areas from painted dust. The symmetrical grooves bother me the most followed by the mismatched paint job. When I get around to it I will be fill the grooves with spackle, give it all a light sanding and repaint it. I didnt shop around alot before this purchase so I dont know how it compares in price and quality to other brands. It is apparently solid oak and plywood (a grainy plywood back under the paint) I didnt want Home Depot MDF. I suspect for a higher quality I would have paid a higher price. Overall it is pretty but not top quality. The countertop is nice, and sink basin is stock quality with a plastic chrome ring around the over flow--looks better when this trim piece is removed.

Dani, I was baffled by Facebook too when I first joined as I was also used to MySpace. But now I find it much easier, and safer using Facebook. I go back and forth between the two now and if I can't find friends on Facebook I try one of three things. 1. I go to MySpace and look. If I find a friend on MySpace, I ask them to join my Facebook page. 2. Use the Friend Finder option on Facebook. You can put in your email address and password and it goes into your address book and tells you who in your addresses is already on Facebook and gives you the option to select everyone who is not on Facebook so you can invite them. 3. That's good news. When I rescued Mia we did all the tests and she tested negative for heart worms. So she was started on the preventative. We brought her a few weeks later for blood work before spaying. She tested lightly positive so we had to delay spay and go through the dreaded heart worm treatment. Vet said she likely was just infected the first test but not enough to register. Boy it is very difficult to keep a little puppy quiet and still! Everything went well and she was able to get spayed.

Gorf is much smaller than Bongo, and a nice camouflaged color... compared to Bongo.

I see it I think, the left lower point of the star opposite bongo, to the outside edge of the star. Now as to what it is I am not clear. I at first thought it was an alligator but upon enlarging it's looking more like a yellow duckie. I have not broken the gorf code though.

ohhhh Ok I see him now! he is just a few feet from Bongo to the left of bongo and you can just barely see his um face poking through the flowers, his slight different shade of um green gave him away! Timrek the Gorf!

Man that sure looks like a yellow duck over there by the other star leg LOL maybe someone hid one there!

by the way where is that located I know I have been where that big Texas star is.

That is exactly where I thought it was, we always stop there when going through Ok TX travel.
That is a much better shot can see kermits head plainly.

Lets see, we went to Hobby Lobby, then ate at Panera Bread, then shopped at Ross, all in Sherman Texas.

We really wore out quickly. It was ssssoooooooo hot that day.

I saw the bright green spot, just to the left of Gorf. Glad I wasn't imagining it.

I just noticed a Dollar Tree store the other day. That brand of dollar store is new to us. I think I remember some of you mentioning that store in the past. I'll have to make sure I check it out. Dollarama is our preferred dollar store. Do you guys have that one?

Bongo & Gorf were happy to get on the road back home. BTW... Gorf told us he was Frogs nephew's cousin! What a coinsedence, we got to see frogs relation. The KT sure is a funny place, you can meet almost anyone.
