I store my huge, huge soup pot there on one shelf. On other shelves in the kitchen, I don't have one of those nice lazy susans to use the space, but I put stuff I rarely use there such as unusual Tupperware containers.

I have the same cupboard in our kitchen, but I like it. I keep all my coffee mugs on the bottom shelf and dishes that I don't use very often on the next two upper shelves. I like the fact that is has so much space for my mugs.

I am talking about my top cupboard. The bottom one is the one that has to be crawled into, but I keep other stuff in there that I don't need that often.

I have a HUGE lazy susan. I put spices on it, food coloring, etc....it's fantastic!!

When I remodeled my kitchen, I laid it out more galley style because I, too, hate those corner cupboards! Even if I put things I hardly ever use back there, I'm getting too old to get on the floor and play seek and find. I now have mostly pull out drawers. Love it. I feel your pain!

I used to stick odd crap I never used back there~~then I decluttered and got rid of all the odd crap. Now I have a couple of Old Old bowls from my gma's days~~I will never use them, but I can not part with them. Funny thing DH was looking for a bowl and that is right where he went, he had to bend over and stick his arm way in there~~~I have a cupboard full of bowls, he could just reach in and grab 20 of them~~WeirdO~

Yes it's the bottom one that I'm talking about. The upper cabinets, I have some little used baking stuff back there, but I know they are there.

The bottom cupboard drives me crazy. Maybe if I stuffed everything into a box or something that I can pull out. I don't know, I'm out of ideas to make it Jasdip-friendly.

I have a box in the lower one. I stand up rolls of tin foil and wax paper, parchment paper, zip lock bags and stuff like that. I can just pull it out to get what I need. Between the box and the side of the cupboard I slide in my baking sheets.Mine also has a half shelf in it, so I put the slow cooker and other things on it. But yes it can be a pain bending over to get things out.

I put yogurt, `margarine, etc containers in recycling. i don't keep any of those things.

I have some baskets that I put my stuff in then just slide the basket in and out everything is easily contained and accessible. There are cabinet inserts you can add that have shelves on gliders that slide in and out of the deep corners.

If you don't mind "wasting" a few inches of difficult corner space, put a board back there at a 45ð angle to prevent things from getting pushed way back into the corner.

I have one of those on my bottom floor cabinet, I hate it! I keep jars, bottles & plastic jugs in there. a total waste. So hard to get to anything or clean out.

I also have a big lazy susan. Best thing ever. I keep my spices and lighter pantry items there. Easy to get to everything.

Nicole is right! I have lazy susans/carousels all over my house for convenience - makes life much easier for me!

Our condo kitchen has two bottom cupboards flanking the stove. One has a heavy duty two-tier lazy susan. The other houses pots and pans -- most-used ones up front. The bi-fold doors on these cupboards make them pretty accessible.

I have more cupboards than I need in our home kitchen. There's some old stuff I never use in my 'dead space' corner -- similar to what YogaLady posted. I find ALL lower cupboards are a pain. Drawers are so much better than shelves, and better than roll-out shelves, too.

I have two of those and they are a pain. To make matters worse, in one of them is the drain pipe from upstairs (enclosed), so the cab is kind of L shaped with the point of the L where the doors are located. I got some long narrow plastic boxes and put almost every thing in them. I slide one out to get to what's in the back. Works pretty well, but not ideal. Anything that gets lost in that back corner may as well go directly in the trash because I never use it again.

This house that we bought 10 years ago keeps on surprising me. I just 'felt' everything was so right, and could never list all the 'little things' that make it a pleasure to live here. It is hard to explain how those corner cupboards have disappeared here. In the family room/kitchen counter, the counter makes a turn to occupy that space and one can sit there at a slight angle, and three more stools fit.. On the other 'corner' the cupboards angle...cutting out the corner, and the outside of the kitchen wall is a perfect angled place for my china cabinet... a little bit in the dining room and wide hallway/entrance.

Ten years later, and more disabled, my only wish would be for one 'sitting-down' counter and one lowered sink. Washing and prepping for meals (vegetables and fruits mostly)takes a toll on my back. Anyway, more builders need to learn how to make those 'corners' disappear. Our bedrooms have small angles at the hallway, which is wider than most, so the doors sit at angles.... and it works.
