Hello Everyone!!!

Don't know if anyone remembers me? I haven't had access to a computer for a couple of years and didn't even know if this site was still here.I am at my son's house and thought I would see what was going on here.I have missed all of you!Just bought a new laptop and will hopefully be online soon.We were in NM for almost 5 years.Went home last Feb.Got the twins to an age where they can kind of fend for themselves.LOL They celebrated their 4th. birthday saturday.We are in NM now and will go home Thursday.Everyone up here is doing good.DS is cancer free as far as we know.Little Rowdy has no residual problems resulting from his problems at birth and they are both growing like weeds.I can hardly believe they are already 4 years old.DH and I have both been diagnosed with diabetes in the last couple of years.Not very well controlled at this time but we are working on it.Other than that we are feeling pretty good.Well,I will get out of here for now.Will try to get back on here before we go home.See Ya later!

You can have engineered or solid wood in the kitchen without problem with adequate care. I had that and am definitively not the most tidy cook and never had problems. This said, you could also put tiles in the part in red (not wood like tile) and it could look good (it all depends of the tile and the general style of the house). I know it is not something people like here, but there was a Sara Richardson's show on DIY where she was doing her house and she did just that and it really look great. These popular home trends are predicted to go out of style in 2020 From the article linked above - "The gray on gray on gray trend has got to go," one designer pleads, while many others chimed in that the all-gray or all-white look is too sterile and cold for an everyday living. In fact, the majority of designers agreed that we're going to see less cool grays and whites in 2020. "Gray will move into an accent position, and no longer be a main color," one said. What will replace it? "Warmer colors will be stronger than ever in the coming year," predicts our own major appliances and home design editor, Cindy Bailen, who says she finds all-gray rooms depressing. Both she and the Sherwin-Williams panel are hopeful for palettes that include beige, warmer neutrals, and greens (Behr's 2020 color of the year is a sage green shade). Designers also say there will be more of a focus on more playful decorating, when it comes to both colors and textures. One expert responded, "I feel like design trends are now leaning toward a mix/match style where just about anything goes together and where things should definitely NOT match!"

I should have written more about not needing help because everything does look very nice. As far as tweaking smaller decor items, or plants, Put your plants where they will thrive and you can enjoy them.. I think you should display things that please you and maybe have some meaning to you. It doesn't have to look like an interior design showroom. So, things on the coffee table or dining table just have to be things you like looking at or using. I keep a big bouquet of fresh flowers on my large square coffee table and not much else. I change out the vases as I desire. I buy Alstromeria at Trader Joes. They are beautiful, inexpensive, come in lots of colors, don't have scent and last for nearly 3 weeks. Move things around once in a while to keep it fresh and interesting so you can enjoy all the stuff you like looking at.

lily, are you going to be living in TX or NM? Mike and I talk about you when we drive through Big Spring and wonder how you guys are. Glad to hear things are going good for your DS and his family. Can't believe the twins are 4 already, how time flies.

Nita,we will be in Texas.Trying to get our place fixed up a little.Things sorta went to pot while we were gone and we are getting a few RV's moving in.Had kids and grands living there while we were gone and they didn't take care of things like they were suppose to.LOL Next time yall are through there give us a call.432-816-3786 Would love to see you.

cwnv-I have missed you too!I am remembering all those late night chats we use to have.It was fun.How long has Steph been married? Any grands yet? Would love to write but after tomorrow I won't have internet again for a while.Have to save up some of that green stuff before I can get mine going.LOL I will get in touch as soon as I do.Love you too!

She got married in Oct. It was nice. I have lots of pics to show you. NO grands. Waiting till they can get a house and careers going on an upward trend...tee hee.

Can't wait to catch up with you on ICQ when you get going again. Travel safe going home. Will be thinking of you.
