I'm getting stock and investment tips from Russian addresses this month. Or, maybe if I were to open and read they contain other material completely but I drag unopened to my Junk Folder and delete from there. Minor waste of time but still an annoyance.

Seniorgal, I guess you and I will see each other in court! I get the same Spam messages. I also get bargains on Rolex watches and some women want to meet me.

These all go to my SPAM folder, nothing in my inbox. I open my spam folder regularly, as a number of messages from Kijiji in response to our sofa and loveseat that we had for sale, went to spam.

Gee no offers for stock or watches but I did win a cruise for 2...Not sure what I had to do or how many $$$$ I had to send....I also can't believe how much garbage is out there and can't imagine anyone actually believing this to be real.....But, then we do have a lot of gullible people, don't we????

I've had my Yahoo! account forever and I don't get any spam emails like that. I don't get any in our office account either. Guess we're lucky. *knocking wood*

I see the court notice ones occasionally in my spam folder right where they belong lol.
I see an occasional invite to some where from someone I have never heard of also in the spam folder.
I don't remember the last time I saw something in my regular inbox that was spam so they are doing a good job of filtering them out.

Well, I don't get as many male enhancement ones lately, but lots of them offering me a job, and many gift cards from various stores. These come in my in folder, so I have to send them to junk. It's a time consumer, but I keep listing them as junk and they should go to blocked items, but they come back with another name.

Your friend opened the wrong email, got hacked and the email address list was used. One reason to scrub forwarded messages of any and all other addresses.

Sushi, yes I hate it when someone sends me an email with 100 emails of everyone else showing. I always delete previous emails and messages when I'm forwarding anything. I always use BCC as well.

Don't you wish that everyone did the same? ;-p

I have one friend at this point who will forward things that have gone through multiple addresses, and just the one. I've told everyone else to knock it off and the only people offended (and they did get over it) were my mother and one woman I've known many years. Oh wait, one brother in law doesn't email at all now, not ever, since I told him I don't read political forwards, election time or not ;)

The one dear friend I don't correct - lost her son a few years ago and I find her somewhat fragile still. I wouldn't hurt her or embarrass her for the world, so I make an exception and remain on her forwards list.

I can tell you how to end the political ones. Answer everyone on the to and cc list, with the opposite point of view. I did that once. And now, I never get them. Oh darn the bad luck. heh heh heh

my top spam message are for penis enhancements, followed by all kinds of dating services, such as black people meet, Jewish people meet, cougar dating, match.com, e-harmony of course... and more.

Most days I just empty my spam folder, but some times I look what's new in spam. LOL

I got a really good one this morning.

It said that the sender had custody of my abandoned ATM card, worth $500,000.

It had been confiscated!

& the bureau of something was handling it, & the sender was to see to it that I got my card back.

All I had to do was send him the fee, at his "US Bureau of Something" office in NIgeria.

thank goodness fil doesn't have a computer! junk mail has done him in, for every coin offer known! some are ligit (thru dealers) but he must have 4 of those presidential gizmos on the wall....if his second wife hadn't passed she would have had enough cookbooks to open a store! as it was, he must have had 10 before I cancelled the offers and she'd been gone 2 years! I've filled out and listed him on stop junk mail about every year....
