I'll Show You Mine if You Show Me Yours Sat July 5

This United States coastguard tall ship was in St. John's harbour yesterday, they were giving tours so of course I went on and took lots of pictures. It's a training ship for coast guard students and all of the students were very friendly and explained things about the ship.

Picton Castle, wooden 3 masted sailing ship in Papeete, Tahiti. They did not need the sails like that in port, but it looks better that way.

I don't have any kind of a ship, but I do have a bee on a daisy. I'm so glad to see the bees

A Great Golden Digger Wasp. Chased it around for a week before getting a decent enough pic to help me identify it. It barely lands till another of it's kind interrupts it and off they go. Gazania, don't sell yourself short! You produce spectacular photos, like your one above!! Nicole, how fun to be in a photo class. I love your picture. I have liked taking them in the past because they do get you out and taking lots of pictures. Having assignments always helped me progress. Susan, your picture is gorgeous too, very striking and I agree with you about Casey's hikes and the pictures that result!!! I would love to go there too someday. Mine is from a trip to Alaska about 12 years ago.

A giant sailing yacht that passed our ship at the beginning of our month-long Semester-at-Sea voyage. The ship looked like it might be the floating lair of evil of an international super villain.
