Bought myself a new bed pillow.
See if I wake up without a tight neck!

I buy polyester or fiber filled pillows, and I find that they are all too fat, and so I wake up with a neck ache. To remedy that, I open the case and remove some of the fiber to make a more healthful pillow that does not bed my neck all night.

I am trying to figure out how to take my buckwheat hull pillow to NYC with me....am only taking a small carry on and the small pillow takes up too much room.
I love the soba (buckwheat hull) Japanese pillows for my neck.
Hope your new pillow works out well.

Carol, have you tried putting it into one of those bags that you then take all of the air out of (either the type that uses a vacuum cleaner hose to pull out the air, or the type that you "zip" seal and then roll/press out the air)? I always put my down pillow into one of those when we travel, and it's amazing how much smaller it becomes!

Slept like a baby with my $2.50 WalMart pillow. Don't know how long it will last but I got a good nights sleep, last night.

Carol_in_California, I hate traveling without my pillow. Can you stick it in a lightweight tote that's large enough to hold your purse and use that as your personal item?

I bought a great carry on today and it has room for my pillow....it is small. (The pillow.)
Thanks for the suggestions.
Glenda, I am happy you had a good sleep with your new pillow.
