Sue, that is a very good question: What color am I going to paint it? And the answer is...I don't know! I'm so bad about choosing colors. My house is white, and the trim is a cinnamony red. Sunny, yes those rings on the sides are for pots. Any suggestions as to a paint color? I'm new to the cottage look. Thanks for any help!

Hi Mary Beth, Glad to see you found some shelving to suit your needs. Now you need to get a couple shop lites for them. Years ago I bought shop lites at Home Depot and Sears. They were 48 inch with two bulbs. Only problem with them was the bulbs were too close together. If your shelves are 49 inches wide you will need two per shelf. Just make sure you get fixtures that take 48" bulbs. Smaller bulbs are more expeive. An episcia is a gesneriad plant. We often say it is a cousin to the violet. Most of thme have beautiful foliage but their bloom is minor. I start leaves in my soil mix of 1 part peat, 1 part coarse vermiculite and one part coarse perlite. I cut the stem of the leaf on an angle with the cut facing front and insert it into dampened soil mix. If you email me I can send you a sheet that I distribute when I speak to groups. ok great. I am just watering it as needed, and watching for it to grow a new stem. I am glad this happened now and not later, so I still have all summer to grow the plant's first year main stem. Grapes seem to really love our vegas weather! :)

I got it on eBay from a local seller who installed it in a new kitchen remodel, decided it was too big and took it right down. My contractor installed it almost three years ago and it's going strong. No issues. I got a NewportBrass faucet where the owner changed their mind and never installed it. That was about 80% off retail. There is a lot of that kind of stuff on eBay. I stay away from the commercial sellers. Like I said, it took a lot of time and patience...my husband thought I was nuts until he saw the finished product (and because I didn't drag him along for all the hunting).
