| I am trying to find out what channel number the CW is. I know it exists because I have watched it before. There is a new show called Dr. Emily Owens that is coming on soon and I have searched for it by name and I have looked everywhere for the channel by name and have had no luck. Any help? |

| For us, CW is a local affiliate. |

| A local affiliate here in the Pittsburgh area also. It is affiliated with our local CBS channel. |

| Have you searched on your controller? Click on the menu button, then on the search button and spell the program using the pad on the left. I think you can check for channel there also. I'd check for you but I am as far away from a tv you can get in this house, and if it is tied to an affiliate it probably wouldn't be valid. Hope you find it. |

| Yes I have direct tv and it is also a local channel here. Check your local channels guide on direct tv. Or Google the cw. |

| Thanks everyone. DirecTv is a satellite television service and I did search for both it and the show. I guess if it doesn't start until fall then I have lots of time to find it, lol! I did wonder if it was local but I did watch it on my direct once before so it is on here somewhere! Checking on the link that fun provided, it says there are local stations for it but none ore numbers that I get. Weird! Oh well, I will investigate more tomorrow. Thanks again! |

| In my neck of the woods (Virginia), CW is listed as WDCW, and it's channel 50 on my DirecTv. Click on 4 (or whatever the lowest channel number you have is) and go up --it should be after your ABC/NBC/CBS/public TV channels. Also keep an eye on the inserts that come with your DirecTv bill, because they frequently feature new shows or season premieres, so maybe one of the inserts may include a mention of that show. |

| It will only come up in the schedule if it is in a two week period and anything after that you will have to set to autorecord...When it gets closer to time for it to air, you can then reset it to the actual record but autorecord should pick it up. |

| Just another tv channel that is local but can also be seen on direct tv in areas that it supports local channels. I love Hart of Dixie which shows on that channel. the show asked about is called Emily Owens M.D.it will be on Tuesdays this fall. Find your local CW station |
