switchboard.com doesn't charge. Listings seem to be limited to numbers that are listed in public directories.

Joann, I'm betting that the post above yours bumped this thread with a nothing response, and plans to come back later and add spam by editing it. He's obviously done that on other threads.

It seems to be a fairly new tactic of spammers to post a vague reply and then edit the post to add the junk.

I guess people have nothing better to do sushiipup1. They can do a puzzle, call a friend, read a book, watch tv, whatever just quit all this spamming stuff people.

Spamming is a business. At best, getting people to click on websites increases traffic to that site which both increases the site's rating and brings in money, and at worst, the websites are fraudulent and dangerous. It's not a bored teenager doing this.
