Why pain on outside of both breasts?

I've just made an appointment for a diagnostic mammogram (next week) but I find this very odd. Thought I'd run it past the ladies on the KT.

I first noticed some discomfort along the outside of my left breast when I would lie on my back in bed. Now I'm noticing it when I'm upright -- and something similar on my right side.

I wonder if my muscles are just complaining about all these years of supporting a pair of "D" cup -- and now severely sagging -- breasts. The sore spots are not in the fleshy part of the breasts; more along the chest wall/almost underarm. Maybe lymph glands?

I know the mammogram will find 'something'. They always do. I always have to have a biopsy. So far it's always been negative.

Anyone have any similar bilateral sort of discomfort?
