8 of us dined at The Pit Hut! Mediterranean/Lebanese restaurant.

Experience was so great, I emailed the owner and thanked him.

He got multi thanks before we left, but an email was appropriate as well.

Owner surprised us with a falafel appetizer plate!

And big servings of his freshly made, today, hummus and fresh crisp pita chips.

Everyone was extremely pleased with what they ordered from the menu.

I had their kefta wrap!

It's been almost a year since I could get my Wasa crispbread at WalMart. They had my kind today so I stocked up. Therefore my supper was a light rye crispbread spread with refried beans and shredded cheese, put in microwave to melt cheese. I had a side of potato chips. And I splurged on a container of mixed fruits.

No rain today, hooray.

Spaghetti and turkey meatballs, here. It smells great and I'm hungry. I'll make a mixed green salad, too.

Shirley, I like Wasa crispbread, too. My husband thinks I'm crazy. :-)

We had homemade cheeseburgers with potato salad. I make a potato salad using olive oil, red wine vinegar, whole grain mustard and chopped herbs. (Lovage and chives, in my case).

ellendi, this is what the kefta wrap was

Fresh ground sirloin with onions, parsley and spices, shaped into a patty and grilled, rolled
with Hummus, fresh tomatoes, pickles, and provolone cheese. Served in a pita wrap.

Pan-fried beer batter fish, romaine salad, and that was it!

Steaks are on the bbq, mashed potatoes, corn and tossed salad. Yummers!

Went to our ladies golf assoc. cocktail party (pre-member-guest event) Lots of different goodies there. I brought chocolate mini cupcakes and mini coconut cupcakes, plus I tried a new recipe for deviled eggs. They had avocado, bacon, garlic,cayenne, hot sauce and jalapeño pepper. Everyone liked them. Now, I have to make some chicken salad for tomorrow night.

Luckygarndnr-I love beef ribs, but I am not sure I have ever heard of the sauce you had with them. Can you please share your recipe??? I prefer rice over a baked potato.

Tonight I had leftover Curried Egg Salad with Apples, one of my favorites.

Ribs, roasted taters, pinto beans..as we were eating I made mention of nothing green...lol...hubby didn't care..I had a big salad at lunch. ;)

I already have a snap in with two teeth. And had it done 2 years ago. At the age of 42. If they are on opposite sides of the top it's pretty easy to do. I was supposed to get implants...but there is so much wrong..that it seemed pointless to put those in when I need more than that.
