He is beautiful and it is amazing that he is doing that. Was it difficult to get him in there? I have gotten to the point where I feel soooo bad everytime Caleb goes in for follow-up because he gets so scared and I feel like such a meanie. He actually had to go back for an extra treatment because he got attacked just a block from our house by a pit bull dog who got loose from his owner accidently. It messed up Caleb's stitches so he needed to have staples put on but he is mending nicely now. The stitches came out a few days ago. The owner felt very bad and I didn't say anything to him and just paid the additional vet bill. At this point I am just trying not to think about the cost because I have my baby back. Quinton looks like he might be part Newf and quite large too. I love his face. Where did you have to take him for the rehab? My youngest daughter had all kinds of alternative treatments to suggest for Caleb but I was afraid to take the chance with things like tumors. Nice to see your post too, Penny. I was thinking about you today because I noticed my pipe vines have buds already. Apparently, they are as anxious for spring as I am.

I am so amazed at everyone here. We all have a story to tell. Some are harder then others. When it is said that you don't know until you have walked in their shoes, this is truier then you could ever imagine. I remember my sisters last battle with cancer. She decided not to do any treatment. Her doctor was wonderful to her. He told her if it was his mother facing this he would advise her in the same way. We had thought we would have my sister through the hoildays. She died two months later on September 4th. Sadly, it was on my youngest daughter's 30th birthday. I lived about an hour away and went every other day to spend time with her. When we knew time was running out I packed my bags and told my hubby I wouldn't be back until it was over. I am so thankful I was there. My grandma died a horrible death with cancer. I saw her for the last time on my wedding day. We went to her house after the ceremony. While on my honeymoon I called every day to check on her. We came home early so I could see her one last time. She died 30 minutes before we got there. She was a fabulous lady and only 54 years old. I have lost 17 loved ones from both my family and my hubbies.. It changes a person's life forever. For myself, I don't think of it often. I go get checked when I need to and live my life to the fullest every day. I worry about our daughters and grandaughters having to someday deal with this. But, that being said, we can't sit back and wait for it to happen. If it happens we will do all we can to stand together and deal with it.. Cancer is no longer a death sentence like it was years ago. I also know when you are first told it is the first thing to come to a person's mind. It is hard not the think this way. I pray everyone here has the best that life has to offer them. For me I think of my wonderful father-in-law so much. I know when I have a really great day he is smiling down at me and saying, "Great job, Susie." Some days I really feel like he is patting me on the back. Enjoy all you have..

He did a great job at 71 years old. I couldn't do the challenges that he did. He didn't seem to have a big moves, strategic game plan, however, we all know how editing can sway viewers to like or dislike someone. I'm for Aubry. I don't think Michele deserves to be there, she hasn't really done anything in my mind to deserve it. Not crazy about Tai. He acts all sweet, and he is a conniving back stabber. Fine, play your game, but don't act innocent for the camera. 3 times now he has turned on his alliance, and yet he's still there. Well, his idol is gone now, I hope he's gone next. Cydney is a competitor for sure, I just don't like her attitude some of the time. But she is my 2nd choice for winning. I would love to see it get down to 2, like it used to be.

Yeah I used to have a lot of Nerine bowdeniis but the big January 2018 freeze seems to have wiped almost all of them out. Hoping one remains in a sheltered spot. But there were lovely patches of Amaryllis belladonna in the Italian Lakes region - area gets more monthly rainfall in summer than almost anywhere in the British Isles. Maybe the nevertheless warmer, sunnier summers help dry them off and cook them a bit? My survivor is a steep south slope and we did have a beastly hot and dry spell for most of June. In fact the first really bad summer dry spell since I bought them. Maybe why it bloomed? The ones I saw on Isole Madre were along stone walls...so again maybe the heat is needed to dry them off in summer.
