HeHe, I have sooo many female frogs here. I could spy on frog and take pics of his activities...he may get married in Oklahoma and take back lots of little tadpoles!
Come on Jan and Lazypup, Frog has been so good, he needs a little fun!

As for answering your simple question - yes bullfrogs are native to your area, but you specifically stated that you BOUGHT the animal from a pet store. This fact ALONE supports my original statement - it is ILLEGAL to release pets into the wild. If you bought it, its a pet and its ILLEGAL to release it into your pond. I have a good number of friends and contacts in MI and your actions would fall under that category. Maybe I should give them a call for you? Bullfrogs have a huge range throughout the United States and Canada, and you have no idea where that animal you bought in the pet store came from - do you REALLY think a bullfrog from Florida will do well in Michigan (or vice versa)? Also, by it being in the pet store, you have no idea what other animals it was exposed to or what pathogens it might be carrying that it could pass on to native populations of bullfrogs (dendrobatidus chytridmiosis) or rana virus. Do you homework, have an open mind to listening to what others say even if it doesn't fit into your plans, and think about your actions before you take them. ~Mike Excellent! :)

Hi Everyone, We are back from our trip. It was fantastic. we had a blast. Melinda, I would love to trade with you sometime, I have a lot of dl's, but love other plants, and have many. Joy, I am so sorry to hear about your beloved kitty. we have had to do that a couple of times, one was with our very first dog my dh and i got. we had him for 18 years, it was very difficult. My heart goes out to you. Marea, Again, I am so sorry. They are family, and it hurts so much.Especially when you werent there with them. *hug* Nancy, So happy to hear that your surgery went well. Maybe you can watch someone else do the work in your gardens while you sit in the shade and relax and get better. =) Whoo hoo, I am trading with Jean. I will check your list, hope I have something on it. If not, I will send you a list of what i have, maybe you can find something. Also, I will check locally to see if there is anything i can purchase. I have a dl farm about 20 mins away. And several nurseries I have discovered in the last year. Debbie, What a great box of goodies. Marea, When do our boxes have to be sent. I may have missed it if you posted that. I am very excited to be back trading with you all again. We bought 6 blueberries, and 6 fruit trees, so got a lot of work ahead of us. Plus we have to finish our raised strawberry bed to get all our strawberry plants in. I also found a clematis I have been wanting. Fairydust!! It was the only one they had, and I nabbed it. Only $10 Got lots of cool projects planned for the garden this summer. Wow..talk about a small world...if you go west out of Greenford on 165 for exactly one mile you come to the jct of Middletown Rd, beside Bob Shepherds farm and the electric substation. Turn left on Middletown Rd and go north exactly one mile till it dead ends with Beaver Creek Rd (or maybe I got those road names reversed...LOL), and at that dead end my Grandads farm lane turned left when the road turned right.. I spent every summer and every weekend at Grandads farm. If you had anything to do with horses in those days you may have known my Grandad, Charles Sheen, who was the best blacksmith within 100 miles. Now talking about silly things. In the early 70's I was living here in Massachusetts and I drove a Plymouth Duster 340 muscle car. I had a CB radio with a Public Address system and a loudspeaker under the hood. I was working in a hardware store on High Street in Holyoke and there was a municipal parking lot on the opposite side of the street with metered parking. i used to park my car in the front row right by the sidewalk, drop a nickle in the meter, which was only good for one hour, then I went across the street to work. During the day I would watch the meter from the store and when the little red flag came up on the meter I would take out a walkie talkie and talk to the radio in the car, which then came out the loudspeaker...I would watch for some nice looking, unsuspecton senior citizen to be walkng by and I would say....."Pssst Pssssssssssst, excuse me" The senior would stop and look around and I would say, "Pssst, please, can you help me,,,my driver has gone off and let my meter expire,,,if the cops see it they will tow me away....I hate to get hauled in by the cops,,,could you please put a nickle in my meter?????" And nearly every time, the person would look at the car and see there is no one in it, the meter is expired and they would slowly take out a nickle, put it in the meter and walk away with a little smile...

I have no idea what it is, but I know that I will love it...because I love Prince Frog!! My father and brother came here to celebrate Father's Day and spend a few days with us - I showed them Frog and his antics, and they loved him also. Thanks for the smiles!!

Frog says he ain't messing with no women ever again...He says when he was young he messed around with a cute female frog,,,till she made forty-lebenteen-gadzillion tadpoles,,,then tried to hit him for child-support for all of them.

I hope Frog wasn't a dead beat dad and did the responsible thing. Lucky for him, those tadpoles grow up a lot quicker than humans!

come on lazypup, poke him in a box and send him to us. We will show him a great time! Then he can go home or we can send him to someone else. Or..... does he have a baby brother you can send to us? We can send him to meet Nectarine!

If you don't send him I'm going to tease him with many pics of the sexy female frog he will miss meeting by not coming. All future pictures of frog will be with drool hanging off his face!

Dear community:

Let's not push too hard to have Frog remove himself from his environs. Travel is a lovely idea, but I sense that Frog is more than a whimsical decoration or cartoon. He runs deeper than that. Lets be patient and watch Frog run his course.

If Frog can't travel do the next best thing, send flat Frog!! Take a picture of Frog and have it at the events and take pictures with it. Like flat Stanley. I could not make it on a girls group trip so they took flat Raven, I think she had more fun than the real me would have! Lol
Seriously it was a lot of fun.

We had flat Stanley visit us for a week. We had so much fun with him. We went fishing in a boat on a very windy day, we really had to keep tabs on Stanley, him being a light weight and all. LOL
