I kinda feel bad about posting my dinners, y'all cook for us exotic food....

We are having a hamburger casserole, real mashed potatoes, and roasted fresh green beans.

I had a lovely turkey dinner, with mashed potatoes, stuffing and peas, plus the gravy. Ha, ha a tv dinner. First I have had in months. Sure was not much in the one I had, but enough for me. Looks like rain here again. We have had a lot of rain in the past two days. So good for our garden though. It is growing pretty well.

Jas, how early do you eat? Glad you liked your first time with the induction heater. I had a long day today, taking care of my sister's garden, taking her to doctor, getting meds and doing a little shopping. Hubby is fixing grilled pork hops and potatoes. No veg. No salad.

Pam, we generally eat around 5. Today was super easy, threw the ziti in the microwave!

Laura, don't ever worry about posting meals, a number of us have breakfast for dinner and that kind of thing. Less-than exotic meals!

Raven, Can you ship me some of your leftovers??? Ribs and brussels sprouts. Oh yummy.

Laura we like tuna casserole, I make a roux and put hot sauce in, and peas. Gotta have peas in mine.

Pam we like grilled pork chops better than steak! Are your potatoes on the grill as well? Lately I've been cutting the potatoes in slices and grilling them that way.

I made a pot of turkey soup - it was delicious and lots leftover for tomorrow.

We both slept like a couple of stones last night, back in our own beds after our visit to Florida. But today entailed a lot of laundry, car washing, and lawn mowing!

I'm going to make some salmon patties, a nice salad with lots of our own fresh greens, baked potato for Robert. I made a homemade buttermilk dressing with fresh herbs in it that will be good with the salmon as well as the salad.

Homemade soup is wonderful Casey! Glad to see you posting on this thread :)

Rhizo, I'm planning on making some ranch dressing, but I need mayonnaise and I have to buy some. It takes sour cream and buttermilk, and I'm going to put minced lovage and chives in it.

We love salmon patties as well and this would be good with it, like you mentioned.

After terrific beach days, it's horrible, cold, nasty 60's up here. UGH. Settled for Beef-a-roni.

Tonight was Ladies Night Out. The speaker was from a local consignment shop. Appetizers included mini reuben sandwiches, Chicken Caesar Salad wraps, crudités, pita bread with yogurt dip and hummus. That was dinner for me.

A Hershey bar. Sheesh.

Another big salad with chicken for me. I'm trying to eat some of the stuff out of the fridge before I leave on vacation. Besides, I've worked late every night this week and this is an easy, healthy & quick meal to throw together.

Well, thought about coming home and making some tuna helper stuff (generic brand) but then Lauren told me she was in Lexington eating at the sushi place Alex works at with her friends. He paid for her dinner...and so I stopped by for a little dinner of salmon roe, tuna and futa make (probably destroyed that spelling). The futa make I took home to eat later...which I just did. I think I had too much even though all the sushi is really tiny.
