It was very hot out in the 90's and rather humid. At least there was a breeze to go with it. Grocery shopping day for the girls and me. I did not feel like cooking for myself but had some leftovers, grilled hot dog, no bun, baked beans, mac and cheese and some radishes.

Tonight is an easy peasy night. Tony has been wanting a chili dog for a week or so that is what we are having is chili dogs, french fries, salad. there are some baked beans in the fridge leftover from Monday night..I am not cooking anything, but I will chop up a romaine lettuce salad. And sweet tea.

I have bbq country style ribs, steamed cauliflower, macaroni salad.

Fried Fish, french fries, coleslaw. Brownies n' ice cream.

Still hot and humid here in my part of Ohio. They had trees down and flooding in a small berg about 10 miles from me from area storms in wee hours.

I had a small piece of plain chicken breast, cracker dressing, and lima beans tonight.

Shirley, there were 4 golfers struck by lightning on a golf course not far from me yesterday. A nurse was golfing and did CPR on one, and brought him back to life.

Jasdip, you sent me running to the pantry.....I have all of the ingredients (except for olives, which we don't eat) . That may have to be on the menu soon!

Robert will be having a steak, sauteed onions and mushrooms, and fresh sweet corn. I'll have a salad, a couple of slices of his steak, and a piece of corn. The salad will be loaded with goodies like spring greens, cukes, rattail radish, garbanzo beans, chard, tomatoes, and mushrooms. Who needs steak?

My supper was a salad (mixed greens, chicken, celery, grapes, feta cheese and dried cranberries - sadly I had run out of mushrooms and red pepper). Now I am enjoying a cup of coffee after having walked for an hour after supper.

It was sunny today but not hot, the high was 18úC. I mowed the lawn this morning, this afternoon I bought some flowers and a rhododendron plant at a nursery to replace mine that split over the winter. Then I did 25 minutes of weights.

Jas, I had very similar weather today. My supper was just a bleucheese burger early because I went to a golf clinic.at 6.

We just had a bowl of Spring vegetable soupâ¦..leeks, onions, carrots, asparagus and spinach. Did not hear about the golfers. Just awful!

Husband is having leftover sweet and sour chicken over elbow macaroni. *shudders*

I was craving pork friend dumplings and they had both the pork and nappa cabbage available at the store -- they were SO GOOD!!!!!!!! yum. :)

Hot and humid here today. We're having a repeat of last night - hot dogs, baked sweet potato fries, and pasta salad. I worked late tonight so it worked out well. And there's just enough for tomorrow night.

Jasdip, I bought a weight machine at Costco before Christmas. After losing a lot of weight I feel like I need to tone up. I've been using it off and on but starting June 1st I decided to do my own "30 day challenge". It's going good so far and I am seeing some improvement but I still need to target certain muscles (upper arms for one).

Nope, I don't crave rice, pasta or potatoes. I never really ate much of them anyway. There are times I crave a cracker or cookie but I'm pretty good at resisting.
