red? They seem to have a lot of red on in movies... and war was honorable to them, so like, blood. Red. I'm sticking to it.

Yeah for me. It was the first name that popped into my head.

I'm going with red, too because that's what DH uses all the time. Signs everything in red. Maybe he has some Roman in him.

I'll say purple - it's the colour of royalty and power. It was a colour that was difficult and expensive to reproduce and so only the wealthy could use it. I think the colour came from the secretion of the slug/snail - mmmm now that I can't remember. (The silly high school lessons that stick with you).
