Just can't wait to get on the road again.....

Got the car all packed up and ready to head out to Lake Wappapelo for a couple weeks... We just got back from Iowa and Wichita, KS visiting kinfolk and now are off to Missouri....
Larry left yesterday cuz he had an appt. at Cape G. and I couldn't leave cuz I had an appt yesterday... So, he has the RV all settled in at Redman Campground at the Lake.... and says he can't figure out the tv ... so for me to hurry and git on over there.. LOL (What an excuse ) I told him just flip the switch in the bedroom over the tv... but he says he can't find it.. yeah right.. MEN !!!

We bought a new Laptop to take with us in the RV so we can keep in touch better, but alas.. Redman doesn't have wifi... pooh.. so reckon if I want to check around the net, got to get myself to McDonalds... they have free wifi..

I am so loving our RV.. it is like a hotel on wheels... and we both love love love to travel, but Larry won't fly, and I have had my share of cruising.... and he isn't interested that much in cruising .... so we hook up the Bighorn to our DuraMax and off we go.

Lovin the life I am living to the max...

Ohhh, sugarmaple! No "liquor" for JT! She's a "glass of wine, please" lady (been at Xmascarol's home) and a "hot chocolate" (smickerdoodle's place)...and, yeah, she is one spoiled little "Jezzie!" That was her twin sister, TJ, out with lindasewandsew that got into "too much fun" at a wedding! I'm sure your DD will enjoy a new roommate! And your DH may find you a bit peculiar, but,don't worry, "that too shall pass." HAVE A GREAT TIME! (and she may be in Buckeye country...but she really LOVES that Hawkeye earring!) LOL, Jeanne S.

Janis, great to read your post; you're so right about interstates being 'raceways'. I am on I-81 whenever I go, anywhere, and have learned that if you don't keep up--you'll get run over! Please give Sassi an extra hug for us.

Hey karyn, Yes the oxalis is really nice, and it was just there growing on the side of the road, literally! It does grow from a tuber like the others, i colleted one cluster of tubers, could send you some if you like :) I collected one vine of the aristolochia, it does have any bloms on it now, plus im not sure if it will survive, its wilted alot! If it doesnt live i will have to go back to the north coast road and get another plant or seeds. When i was there i didnt find any seeds on the vines. There were many vines but not in bloom. I only came across one vine in bloom, that how i knew i had found an aristolochia!! Hopefully i will get this vine to grow and then i'll have seeds. I will try the A. fimbriata seeds, maybe i might be lucky :) Siam.

Get a Verizon hot spot or sign up for AT&T cellular and you don't need wifi at a park...most of them are not that great anyway.

I am with you all the way. We absolutely love our RV and getting out there and enjoying our time together.

I am with Att cell phone and I got the little wifi travel box, I think theirs is called Unite. it is awesome, I have Internet every where I have ever gone. I have been extremely pleased with it. If you have a smartphone that can teather you can do that or one that can create it's own hotspot. My cell phone is capable of doing those things but we get a much faster stable connection using the Unite box. I can run multiple items at once which is nice since we both have our own toys that needs Internet lol.

Have a wonderful trip. We head to the beach for a week in June and I just can't wait.

Thank you all, and especially Ruthie and Raven for the info on the wifi... sure appreciate it.. and will be looking into just such a gadget..

Larry and I always have tons of fun traveling... I never really realized how much I enjoyed it.... Bob and I traveled some, but this fellow wants to "follow the sun" so to speak.. and hey.. why not..

The only thing I do miss is gardening, but Larry doesn't really want me doing much of that since my back surgery and the arthritis that is keeping me hurting all the time... But, I am not one to just sit on a pity pot... not anymore.. He3 grows some, and even farmed a summer.. had more dang maters than I ever saw , and peppers, corn and melons, squash, and the list goes on.. LOL When he jumps into something, he goes in with both feet.. and I love it.. I love the passion he puts into all that he does..
So, maybe I can stop by if I can get online for a few while in the "Bluff"..

I want to do that when Tony retires again. I am talking about selling everything and buying a RV and hitting the road...that is if I am able. I may be facing back surgery too...
