graduation day for my grandaughter.

this is my 4th born grandchild.

yesterday was her graduation party .

so yesterday my two daughters , two of my grandkids and two of my great grandkids piled into the car and made a two hour trip to go to her party...

She is graduating from high school, has her first year of college finished and worked two jobs this year.
I'm very proud of her.

Thanks for all the nice responses everyone! Alisande, she is 6 hours from us... so a little far for a day visit, but quite doable for a weekend trip. Patti... we helped her move about a month ago.. had dinner at a buffet pizza place (expensive!) in CB and went to TJMaxx and a few other places. We were only in Omaha 2 nights so no extra time for a get together... but I did look around to see if any faces looked familiar. I remembered that you lived there. I'll let you know next time, okay? Glenda, if he's interested in working for the Parks department or something to do with a camp... Parks, Recreation and Sports Administration is probably the field he'd want to go in.

Oh Kat, I do feel fortunate for my nephews and niece to think of me. They're almost 30 years old and all have their own lives to worry about. It feels warm when they take time to think of you now and then. Couldn't ask for more :o)

Congratulations to a wonderful granddaughter. Not only is she smart and pretty, she also saved herself/her parents a ton of money getting that first year behind her!
