I made these for open house I'm having on day of my grandson's graduation, this coming Thursday.

Green is his school color.

Have them in refrig and when I serve them will put them on lollipop sticks on a flat green covered piece of styrofoam.

This is not my picture, but this what they will look like.

Also making rolled cookie diplomas.

Yep, the tassels are out of the sour fruit leather.

This is a picture of what the diplomas will look like except I'm using the green fruit leather again

Very interesting, thanks for sharing your observations here. Those differences are certainly not apparent just glancing at their website, they look like exactly the same oven. practigal: Electrolux recently shut down their premium cooking products factory in Quebec and moved it to Memphis TN. The wallovens, cooktops, and slide ins made there are being replaced by new versions that are one character different in the model number, and have some minor changes. Off the top of my head, I think the ovens have catalytic converters to reduce odors, and they have double convection fans in each oven (previous model only had 1 per oven). If you flatten the freeze it will depend on how long you are planning on keeping it. If it is more than a month or so you need to make certain as much of the air is removed from whatever packaging you use. Commercially prepared chicken is normally flash frozen which creates a small layer of ice on the outside. It prevents what is called freezer burn. Removing air will help prevent this but long term freezing can dry the meat on the edges.

It's frustrating to me as a teacher that we are not doing more to make schools safe and prepared to meet this challenge and the next one that comes along. People need socialization, which is why we should have right from the get-go jumped on this like General Marshall did on the reconstruction of Europe after WWII. They knew if they didn't act at a massive scale, the misery of the war would undermine democracy and we'd just be back where it all started in another 30 years. I think its the same with this virus, infectious diseases are going to make a comeback, it has been predicted for decades by scientists aware of how the conditions present in the world would inevitably lead to that. I'm sure you all have concerns about your local schools, but mine were in tough shape even before this. In some cases, we teachers just make do no matter what, but now that our lives are at risk, it's sort of at the breaking point. So many teachers I knew were getting out of the profession even before this, due to lack of community support. Some schools will manage this better than others, and the weakest schools will of course have the most trouble, just as some people will have a lot of trouble surviving the virus while others not so much . . . Edited to add that I wish I could get my husband involved in the "pretend" or even real shopping for a truck to pull a camper. He keeps talking about it but is hesitant to do it due to the financial uncertainty . . .

They are wonderful! I'm sure they were a lot of work, but nothing is too good for our PJR. He certainly won the lottery in the Grandma department! Give him a hug for me and tell him I congratulate him on his graduation.
