In all day long, and finishing leftovers from graduation party I had yesterday evening. Pickings are slim though.

Lemon pepper tuna salad on crackers and a few remaining rollups.

We are in need of a rain, Shirley. The leaves of some of the trees are hanging down.

We did groceries this morning then a friend called and wanted to go to The Mandarin, Chinese buffet. We only go with him, as hubby and I can take or leave it, but our friend loves it.

I was out looking at the garden earlier. Our landlords plant a good sized garden and generously offered us part of it. We put tomatoes, peppers and leeks (leftover from the landlord's), and my basil and rosemary that I had in the kitchen window. I have to move some things around as the tomatoes aren't getting enough sun where I stuck them. So I'll be doing that tomorrow.

Going to be a simple night here...I am going to fry some Panko flounder fillets in a little olive oil, Fix some baked potatoes, and some edamame pods

Well, My husband was supposed to call me on his way home from the city so I would know when to put in the manicotti. He forgot and I lost track of time.
Tonight we have chicken salad sandwiches with my left over chicken from Costco.
I have a fresh blueberry crisp in the oven to make up for the boring dinner;)

Delicious greasy fried taters w/beans & wienies.

Cheryl is grilling chicken here, and I fixed fried potatoes, broccoli and mac and cheese. Leftover dessert.

Jasdip: If I could, I'd send you all of next week's rain. You guys are such good friends to go with him even when you aren't that fond of the place.

Orchid: That meal may sound simple to you, but sounds excellent to me.

Ellendi: Your sandwiches don't sound one bit boring to me. Mind if I stop by later for some of your dessert?

Old Fixer: My granddaughter from Wisc makes the best greasy fried potatoes. Mmm, Mmm, good. I like your side dish too.

Sue: Another fried potatoes ... guess I'll now have to make some this weekend. Your whole meal is right up my alley.

Hamburgers on the grill, and watermelon.

The hunt club had an evening picnic tailgate this evening. I came directly from work so I didn't have a chance to make anything. I merely bought buffalo chicken nuggets, swiss cheese and crackers, and an olive assortment. There were three other types of chicken, a couple of pasta dishes, deviled eggs, strawberry-rhubarb pie, and a lemon pound cake.

Raven: I hope you put a slice of Vidalia onion on that burger. I like having watermelon as a side dish, esp if it's been chilled.

Bob: You had a quite an assortment to choose from. I'd like a deviled egg and a piece of the lemon cake.
