Found it. Instead of using the search here (which isn't great) I often do a google search, and include the term "gardenweb"

So for this if you do the following search via google:

gardenweb roofers cut tree

the post appears as the top entry.

Let's see ... 85 x 365 ... that's quite a few (even allowing for the early days ... but one was learning at an even faster pace, in those days: probably a hundred new things, on some days).

I recall hearing as a kid how you learn something new everyday, but somewhere along the line, I changed it to, If you're lucky, you learn something new everyday. I think I've been pretty lucky.

Not only is the search here not that useful, if a post is older than a certain amount, (or perhaps if it has fallen off the bottom of the list) gardenweb's search will fail to find it at all.

A couple of days ago I was looking for a post I had written containing my Cold Cucumber Yogurt Soup recipe, whic I knew was originally posted in the cooking forum, but searching that forum using the gardenweb search found 31 posts but failed to find my posting at all.

I then tried the above trick and google searched for:

gardenweb cooking cold cucumber yogurt soup

and my posting comes up as the first post.
