I found this recipe on Pinterest and made some yesterday for my sweet mother in law's 88th birthday. They are super easy and quick to make along with being delicious. Thought I would share it with you...

Cheerio Treats
1 Cup sugar
1 Cup corn syrup
1 Cup creamy peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
5 Cups Cheerios, regular or Honey Nut (I used Honey Nut)

In a large saucepan, combine sugar and corn syrup. Bring to a boil over medium heat

Allow mixture to boil for one minute and remove from heat.

Add peanut butter and vanilla to mixture and mix until smooth

Add cheerios and mix until coated.

Drop mixture by spoonful onto waxed paper and allow to cool.

Makes approximately 2 dozen.
