Thank you everybody for your kind thoughts. We got thru the 17th, and then Father's Day. Brycesmommy, you've been so in my thoughts and prayers. Your burden is great, too, and this time of year is especially difficult for you also. The past 2 years, we seem to be especially vulnerable starting with Mother's Day, then Millie's birthday, the anniversary of their deaths and then Father's Day. I do appreciate your kind words and the friends who called us just to say they know how terrible that day was. Somehow or another, we seem to be able to get things together later in summer, and then we function OK until Dave's birthday in October, remembering the glorious day on which he was born, and reviewing his life and how much we loved him. As I may have mentioned, Dave was a fine, fine baseball player in high school and college; he played until his early thirties, and then work and family left him with no time for baseball. He loved the game, and so did all of us. Last year, on June 17th, we visited his high school and walked to the baseball field. It was completely empty, school being out for the summer. On the bench in the home dugout was a single baseball. I think he left it there for us. This year on the 17th, I was walking my only other grandchild (she's 2) home, and there in the midst of a baseball field, newly dragged and devoid of footprints was a baseball! I think (and pray) that he's telling us that he and Millie are fine, but how terribly we miss them. Bless you all who are carrying such terrible burdens. You're in my prayers.

You all have warmed my heart by saying such wonderful things about the video. I will pass them on. There are a lot more photos that were taken. My DGD's DH is the "family photographer" and I think this is his first video. The two of them put it together and since she and David are cousins, she knows him well. The song could have been written for him, He always said he never wanted to grow up, and he was a little, not wild, but couldn't quite settle down. Always had a job and worked, but never had any money! And then he met Inez and all that changed. I wish you all could have heard the solo, and the euphoniums; I had never heard of that instrument. It was the happiest wedding I have ever seen, and the reception was a lot of fun. Patti, I am in the white jacket; David's DM is in the bright pink. Inez is the best thing that ever happened to David, and I think she would say that he is the best thing that ever happened to her. She adores him, and I think that is mutual. Here is a pic of the bracket/brace we found, but the picture really doesn't show anything else going on underneath. It connects the side panel to the front frame on the cabinet that creates the recessed bottom. The gap between the wood support bar you see and the side is the same on all of the other cabinets. We checked the cabinet with a level, and it does show the left edge to be ever so slightly off. The cabinet door is ever so slightly off in the other direction, but it lines up perfectly with the right side door. Finally, here is a picture of the entire area if it helps. I'm now thinking that perhaps the installer installed the cabinets on each side of the sink first, then when he hung the lift up cabinet over the sink, the spacing was off just at tad and so when he connected it to the right side he "pulled" on the box of the right cabinet, and it started to come apart. He then added the bracket/brace to "correct" the problem. Of course, I have no way to know for sure. But assuming that is the case, and it was an install issue, what can/should be done at this point? I'm assuming that this problem will only get worse over time. I'm pretty sure Brookhaven (if they ever bother respond to my email) would look at it conclude that it was an install problem. And since the company that did the install is no longer a Brookhaven dealer, Brookhaven would not have any influence over the dealer to make any corrections. I'm not sure if there is anything that can be done to correct the problem and keep it from getting worse over time - without ripping everything out and reinstalling? So I have no idea what my next step should be. I'm afraid if we hire a third party to try to make repairs, things might go from bad to worse. Suggestions welcome!
