Tyler Graduated Yesterday

My grandson Tyler, graduated yesterday. Because of our health problems we were not able to travel to Missouri.He lives in Nevada,Missouri,and they had the ceremony on their television channel.We were able to watch the whole ceremony on our computer. It is wonderful to be able to share that memory. I wonder how many other cities do that same thing.

I never heard of a graduation ceremony being broadcast. What a great idea! So glad you were able to share in that, Sandie.

you may have to ask inside at the plant section. the roses were outside on the side of the building. If they are not marked down just ask at the register they will mark them down for you. the Garden Party rose already shows good improvement and the other shows promis. I wish I could have gotten more as many of the leaves are sun burnt and dry and if they don't sell them they are gonna get trashed its a shame. they could be so prety with a bit of care.

Glenda, Congratulations to you and your family. You have been a such a great support for Parker. How could he have grown up so fast. See this with my own grands, and time does go by fast. I looked around on the site and could not find your recipe for lemon pepper tuna salad. Granddaughter, who is now 6 now, loves to cook and also loves tuna salad. Please share. Thanks everyone, especially those of you who said I looked great! Hehe. He had a job lined up with a store chain but they bailed out on him at the last minute. His major was business administration and he is jobless now! He is moving back home until he finds a job, which is okay with me! Now that our kids are growing up and moving out I'm wishing they would come back, and he will for a while! I know it's hard on him but I'm happy!

I remember my first daughter's preschool "graduation". they wore mortar board hats made of construction paper, and marched out to a recording of "Pomp and Circumstance". They sang a few songs for their audience (parents, siblings, grandparents), then Teachers gave them "diplomas". No boring speeches. Then refreshments for all! I cried thru most of it.

Congratulations to your grandson Tyler. I have 2 granddaughters that are graduating this year one yesterday and one next week in Florida. I do believe that I heard that Lillians was also broadcast via the computer. So nice to get to hear their names and watch them walk so proudly across the stage.
