So happy to see your update!! I have been thinking of you strongly the last week, wondering how you were doing. I just can't believe something can't be done, heart transplant or something. Will keep praying for you and a miracle as I am sure your church is doing.

I've thought of you so often and remember you in my daily prayers. For so many years, you have been such a joy to "know" and such a help with computer issues, that you are a good friend. It's wonderful get such a positive update! Take care of yourself, and keep us posted on your progress. We care. Hugs!

Since I have been out of pocket for a long time,,,,not sure what happened,,,,,but am glad you got a good report and that your meds are helping I too will add you to my prayer list,,,,,

Pooh, it's so nice to hear from you, Thank you for the update. We'll pray your medication does its job the next couple of months and what your doctor is going to use next will as well. Please stay in touch when you can but know we are thinking of you always.

Can you switch your area of interest? Painting, drawing, wire working, even knitting, lots of men knit.

Anyhow, I hope you continue to improve and that your Doctors find even more things that work.

I'm still praying. Yeah it stinks to lie in bed, I did it for two whole years, but you can still talk and laugh and learn and most of all be thankful for what you can do. Sleeping is okay, it whiles the hours away. I'm hoping for a miracle right around the corner, never give us hope. Sending happy thoughts of better times.

Glad the meds are working---since you cannot ride the tractor, maybe a remote control would help LOL. Just sit there and push buttons!! Keep checking in and you are in my prayers.

I just found you on this website..I live down the road from you...visited you several years ago when our mutual friend from back east came to visit with her husband...I'm the gun lady.. Since I just arrived on this site, I don't know the particulars of your heart problem. I also don't know what medications you are on at the present time. I hate that you can't get out of bed as your body needs oxygenating.l...and sleeping so much is sure to decrease your oxygen levels in your blood...I know this sounds silly but there are DVDs of movements you can do sitting in a chair or wheelchair...they're very effective. And...they would make you feel better and keep you from sleeping so much....If you want the name of them, or I'll order you a set and have them sent to you if you'll email me your address...

Glad to hear from you again. I think of you often. Still using that Gift Wrap computer program you generously made for me.

So glad to have an update. You have been on my prayer list since you first told us about your health problems. And will continue to pray daily for you.

Been wondering how you were doing. Listen Buddy, age does the not being able to do things to you anyway. As frustrating as it is, I finally convinced my DH that he should hire someone to do the hard work. Relax and enjoy.

I am so glad you posted an update I have been wondering how you were. Please make sure someone does keep us informed if you can't, because we do care. I know you're frustrated not being able to do the things you love but at least you are still able to do some things still.

While exercise will stimulate the flow of oxygen in the body, I don't know that it would be the course I'd take at this point.

If you aren't on oxygen already, see if your doctor will order it for you.

It'll increase the flow of oxygenated blood to all parts of the body, right down to your fingers & toes!

Pooh, I have been thinking so hard about you and thought so often about asking if any one had heard anything from you lately. Then I realized that by not hearing, you must be all right and I believe a miracle has happened . . . the meds are working!!

Keep knowing that "miracles" are happening all the time.....

I'm on 7 liters/hour of oxygen. My heart rate runs about 120bpm resting.
I am in end stage heart failure. I was on Hospice for a short time.
I am on blood thinner. I have to be really careful not to get nicks and cuts.
I can't do exercise. Doesn't take much exertion to get my heart rate up in the 180's.
I am finding new things to do. I have a farm game I play. I spend time with
Homer (our dog). I visit the antique tractor forums. I work on getting stuff
ready for when I'm no longer here. Things like usernames and passwords.
I'm keeping busy. If not, I can go take a nap.

Pooh, I joined you in one of those naps today, it's pouring down rain here. People mean well because they care so much but you know what's best for you. I'm sure all of us are cheering for you while admiring your courage in this journey, and I'm keeping you in my prayers too.
