Have been trying to eat very lite lately.. so lots of salads and steamed veggies,etc... husband informed me yesterday he has been craving pot roast... so put in crockpot this morning tri tip and all the veggies carrots, potatoes, onion. He will be a happy camper...

Egad, my meat and potato, fry everything husband who does most of the cooking because he likes what he likes, ate a quiche I made and liked it! We had a wonderful baked ham yesterday and had lots of leftovers so I used some of that and onions. Jas, I am impressed that you make your own hamburger rolls!

I will be making salmon, garlic rice, and chilled peaches. The weather is beautiful, and I am so tired of all the junk we've been eating lately. It's time for a clean house and a cleaned out fridge/freezer.

Salad topped with turkey for us, but......decided to try a Thai Quinoa salad for my (vegetarian) daughter.

Lots of chopping. Had to go to two stores to find Sriracha Sauce. This recipe made a vat of salad! If I make it again I will half the recipe for sure. ( I did have the sense to use only half of the Sriracha.)

Over did it on the garlic mashed taters. Oh well, there definately won't be any vampires lurking around the castle tonight.

It must be a garlic kind of day... just had roasted [butter & garlic] chicken with baked sweet potatoes and broccoli.

I've been craving a burger, so tonight it's In-n-out burger and fries. Can't wait!

Roasted chicken with kasha and mushroom stuffing, fresh made apple sauce, roasted potatoes and garlic, collards.

Don't feel like cooking and am sick of salads so we're just having DiGiorno pizza.

Pam, I love quiche and have leftover ham in the freezer. I should make one with ham, and onions, peppers and mushrooms. Hubby won't eat any hot cooked eggs, so it's me and my quiche.

Cheri I love pot roast. I tend to make mashed potatoes on the side, instead of in the slow cooker. We like them that way better.

Alice your dinner sounds great! We eat a fair bit of rice, just love it.

Ellendi would you share your quinoa recipe on the Share your Recipe Thread???? We enjoy quinoa. That's the pits you had so much trouble finding the sriracha.

Party, I was going to bake some sweet potatoes yesterday, but they are really small, so I mashed them along with white potatoes. We like them mixed.

I had Stouffers Meat Loaf, and I thought of Patti43 all the time I was eating. She often mentioned Stouffers and I told her that if Stouffers ever went out of business, she and I would starve.

Sue, I feel the same way. I miss Patti a lot. She is always upbeat and bubbly even in the hardest times.

Cubano sandwich and chips. Its basically a grilled sandwich with sliced pork tenderloin, ham, swiss cheese, dill pickles, and mustard.

Hot dogs. Yeah, it's the end of school and it is a very demanding push to the end ;) At least we ate this time!
