Special Agent is a very broad term. It applies to anyone working for a Federal Government agency who has the people to arrest those who are in violation of his agencies area of investigation or concern. A food inspector may be a federal agent. Like the guy who comes around looking for roaches in the local diner's kitchen. I had an Indian friend who could carry the title and be armed because he was a liaison for his tribe and the US government. Anyone who is employed in federal intelligence is a Secret Agent. In Philips case I believe he sat behind a 'puter doing employee background check. That would make him a "secret" agent but in a broad use of the term. LOL Phillip is using the term and making waves with it because most people envision James Bond when they hear the term. LOL

WoW!!! This has really taken a negative direction between two of KT's finest! Well, I'm not here alot but I think I gotta chime in! What I have to say maybe nothing more than rambling..be forewarned! LOL!! The age old battle of losing weight. I'M AN EXPERT at trying!!! I don't have a clue what it's like to have only 5-10 lbs. to lose. Nope it's a whole lot more than that. So, I can't identify with Flamey. I don't know what it's like to lose 150 lbs., so I can't identify with Granlan either(I honestly wish I could).But I can identify with Gran on this. I also know peeps that will spit and sputter about 5-10 lbs. just to fish for compliments and those peeps after about the second time, will fall off my radar screen. I don't think Flamey was doing that or rubbing this in anyone's nose. If she feels comfortable weighing 5-10 lbs. less, then that is her choice. I think her original point was just letting others know about this TV show and discussing it. Yet on the other hand Gran, I don't think anyone here including myself know how hard you worked and the determination it took to achieve what you did. I too kind of think that the peeps that have 5-10 lbs. to lose, aren't struggling half as much as those of us who have 100 or more lbs. to lose. Heck, half of their excess could even be the dreaded 'water weight' that we all know and have heard about. But there again, I have never been in their shoes. But they also have never been in the situation of having to lose a vast amount of weight. So, I honestly think nobody knows the others personal challenges and battles they are fighting. What one sees as a mere drop in the bucket, someone else might see it as insurmountable. But my words to Flamey and others, realize that Gran and I and possibly others do think that sometimes thin people just don't seem to understand that 5-10 lbs. does sound petty to those of us who have/need to lose 10 times that. And yes, I would bet that those of us who do need to lose that amount of weight have kicked ourselves many times over for not dealing with this when it was only 5-10 lbs. We have beaten ourselves up over this time and time again and anybody who looks at us know we need to lose weight, yet looking at Flamey, we can't see that through the same eyes as you do. We can't comprehend the magnitude of their obsession with those few lbs. So, Gran, I can identify and understand what you meant in your original post to Flamey.

My perspective about Jesus is different to what it was when I was young. When I was a little boy, a picture of 'Jesus' was displayed on the church wall and I thought it was a representation of his likeness. I never questioned it because no one else did either; All accepted it as a good representation. Its reality was never discussed with us children. It was one of those things we grew up with and assumed it was factual. It was not! It was church art. Now, I am in my elder years and finally realize that no one alive alive today knows the likeness of Jesus. What we saw as children was an artist's view of a sincere man, one who was concerned about people. In "white" churches, he is depicted as a white man; In other places, he may have different skin color. Due to his location and parentage, he may have had olive colored skin. The truth is, no one today knows, with accuracy, what his physical features were.

💉💉💉 Pfizer says it will be unlikely to have additional Covid vaccine for the US until the summer. It’s been reported that months ago the US had an opportunity to contract for many more doses but declined. That’s very unfortunate. There is some moderate immunity conferred after the first shot, so that’s good news. The side effects felt after the second injection (a few weeks later) are along the lines of those experienced by the second Shingles shot — sore arm at the injection site for a day or two, and some feeling of blah all over. Just for a day or so. This demonstrates that the person’s immune system is responding. The vaccine has NO virus in it, but instead just a piece of the genetic code of the virus. There is no way that the vaccine can cause the virus in those injected. Dr. Kavita (sp) Patel (MSNBC) said she got to read some of the documents and details and is optimistic. A few weeks ago, she was waiting to see that information before committing to taking it. In Wales, vaccinations have begun and their system of prioritizing and administering (the logistics, and set up) seem exceptionally well organized and thought out. Wales has been hit very hard. From some of the video footage and narrative on MSNBC, it appears that after the vaccine has been removed from the very cold freeze, it can be administered within a five day window. I am feeling better about this. Oh, and as many of you might know, a lot of this vaccine development had been somewhat researched during the similar SARS epidemic. So researchers were not starting from a blank slate.
