The one of Maui makes me wish I was there today - weather still pretty bleak here. I'm not sure what to say about your thank you, other than that I'm very glad you found value in my help and feel it has made enough difference in your growing experience you thought it worth mentioning. Happy Easter! I've been on vacation and just now am back up and running. Good to home, all of them, including here. ___________________________________________________________ It just wasn't meant to be. I was on my way to church when BLAM! the car behind me tried to go inbetween the car next to me and me, but instead, he hit the car next to me. Because there wasn't any room. Thank God in Heaven above it wasn't me. I just kept saying, I don't know how he didn't hit me?! By all accounts he should've hit me too??? Honestly. If he had, I'd be in huge trouble. I don't have collision on my 22 year old car; would've had to buy one outright with ??money??? Couldn't be done. I moved my car and rushed over to everyone. No one was injured. He should not have been driving. He never even slowed down. No screeching tires? Nothing. Just wham. Then, as I drove on down the road, late but still going to church, my car overheated. So I let the car sit and cool down. Drove some, sit and cool down, until just now, I am back at home. Wasn't my day to be at church! I really wanted to, but it wasn't meant to be. No ham, potato salad, deviled eggs, carrot cake, etc. :( I am truly blessed and glad that it wasn't my car he hit, and that no one was hurt.

It has been a dreary chilly day most of the day, but the sun came out for a while, just long enough to dry out the grass and warm things up for our Traditional Egg Hunt. I had my oldest son, his wife and their three boys here with me today and my dear Mother. The oldest grandson, my son & I had fun hiding the dozens of Easter Eggs up in the meadow on the hill and then we "unleashed the hounds" and the two little boys took off like greased lightening! They had a ball hunting for them! The rush was on for the "Golden Eggs". The oldest grandson hid one egg in our collie's collar and the little boys never did find it until Angus shook his head and the egg fell to the ground. Angus found a green egg on the ground and then just stood proudly over it for about 20 minutes. He was so proud he found one like the boys! Lots of smiles all around. Got some great pics of kids, grandkids and dogs. Had a great time together. Hope this finds everyone happy and well this Easter Sunday. Thank you for posting this Sandi. ~Annie ~Annie

What wonderful eggs. Years ago my sister and I had such fun making Ukrainian eggs. It's like creating with your eyes shut since you don't know what it's going to look like until you melt the current layer of wax off. We didn't follow any kind of pattern yet the designs on your eggs are very familiar to what we did. I'll have to ask her if she still has the tools to do more.
