hahahaha! I can think of so many that make loud noises! Elephant because they always use one in the movies to call out to other animals at far-away places. lol! Raptors (eagles, hawks, etc) have incredibly loud shreaks!!! Whales must produce huge sound to carry so far through the water... 'Big cats' (lions and tigers) are loud! So is my domestic calico cat Esme. lol!

Yup....agreeing with red and it was a no-brainer for me (former military). The stripes were set up as alternating colors (red/white) to represent the original 13 colonies. The flag has always been red/white/blue. I'd have to go back and look up flag history to confirm when the 13 stripes became the flag base but it's been around for at least 100 years....maybe early 1900s.

When I was at the hospital day of surgery, and at ER, I wanted my phone on. They actually wanted it while hubby was in surgery so they could get hold of me quick. Anyway, my flip phone wouldn't get any service, even though everyone was on their smart phones. That bothered me, and I'm thinking of looking to see if I can get one for pay as you go, which is still a monthly plan but relatively inexpensive, $15/mth (my current plan). We use it very seldom and that's the cheapest monthly plan I've seen. If it doesn't get renewed every month, you lose all of the accumulated minutes.

I do have a strange sense of humor (and probably really lack social grace as well)......today's question looks a little familiar to me. My first post was hasty, as it was the first thing that came to mind. Rob's response was better than mine though!!!
