The snow is melting and the sidewalks are covered with water for the most part. Makes it tricky for walking.

We had chicken chipotle and rice and sauteed cauliflower.
Quite good.

Well, another full day for me and I am too tired to cook. I had leftover chicken noodle soup, toast, and some strawberry Greek Yogurt.

I think I will just have a grilled cheese. Hubby went to get a pizza and I don't want pizza. I love that at almost 6:00pm it is still daylight. This morning I saw a cardinal on my bare maple tree. We still have snow on the ground and it is still cold, but I have hope for the spring weather.

We are having a big salad with seafood in it. I will boil some eggs to slice for the salad.

Steak, fries & salad. No need to work to eat. Leave room for munchies, maybe a banana split later.

Glenda: Miss Myra's is on the list for Pattie and me. Just have to have some of that chicken salad. Maybe the 3 of us could split a dessert.

Jasdip: I think you have a lot more snow than we've had. Your dinner sounds good. I have it on my list to try the other chicken recipe soon.

Sue: You even 'sound' tired. Soup, toast and Greek yogurt sounds good to me.

Pam: Nothing wrong with a grilled cheese. My kids loved it teamed up with tomato soup.

I've felt chilled all day, so am making a pot of lentil soup, full of veggies and flavor and a hefty dose of Tabasco! I use kale in mine, rather than spinach.

I need a "cleanse " after that fatty, salty corned beef last night, lol.

Rhizo: I'll bet you're all warmed up with the hot stuff in your soup. I might make a lentil soup with a lot of vegetables sometime, but think I'll skip the Tabasco. lol

Stirring pasta at the moment, it will go in the skillet with sausage in a cream sauce and spinach stirred in just before serving.

Huuby had Ivar's Clam Chowder and Girl Scout cookies. I had Lay's (original) potato chips and a Budweiser. LOL

We had Ivar's clam chowder last night ;) and, our St Patricks Day dinner tonight. DH had a little bit of a sore throat and didn't think he wanted a big heavy dinner last night, better today, and he worked, so I cooked the corned beef, sautéed cabbage, and roasted a pan of new potatoes, onions, sliced carrots in the oven with a little olive oil over those. Green beans, no salad though.

We had a friend here who stayed for dinner who had never had corned beef, he certainly seemed to enjoy the food.

Husband loves that chowder. It doesn't show up in our Costco very often (only place we can get it), so it was quite a treat for him. He mentioned that it doesn't quite taste as good as he remembers it though. Maybe they changed the recipe? Could be different tastes as you get older though.

Uh oh......now I'm going to have to make clam chowder soon. I don't think that I've made it all winter!
