Yes, I have several of them. I keep one in the car, one in the bathroom, and one at my desk. No more tweeting for me. And they are the cheap ones you mentioned shel gal.

Yes, it's less than a dollar each with free shipping from Amazon. Just search on Amazon for facial hair removers and a whole section will come up. I just ordered two more, and if you master the technique, you can remove little hairs that grow on the face or chin. My whole order added up to less than two bucks and will be mailed to me directly.

I think donna_loomis first mentioned them on this board some time ago. Thanks. They do eliminate the need to tweeze hairs.

That's it. One of mine is identical to the picture you posted. The other two have different shaped handles. Not difficult at all to do. Of course there is pain involved, unless you are the type of person who feels nothing when you pluck a hair with a pair of tweezers. You just have to become accustomed to the pinch of about a dozen hairs being pulled out at once instead of just one. No big deal for me. And it is over much more quickly.

A plus is that you have to be able to SEE a hair if you want to pluck it with tweezers. And you have to be able to position the tweezers in just the right place to get that hair. Not with the spring. I just run it all over my chin and upper lip a few times and even the downy fuzz I can't see is gone. I use it about once a week.

I found them on ebay, you can do a "buy it now" from China or Hong Kong for less then $1.00 with free shipping.

I've ordered a number of things from them. Type of stuff you might find at a dollar store. It does take about 2 weeks to arrive because it comes from China, but no sense spending 3 or 4 dollars to expedite shipping a 60 cent item.

How long does the hair have to be for it to work? I shave any wayward facial hairs each day when there's just the tiniest bit of 'stubble'...

I happened to be ordering something on Amazon when I saw this thread, so I added the hair springy thing, too.

The hair doesn't have to be very long at all. I am often amazed that it has pulled out hair that I could not even see.

The price keeps going down on the one I bought yesterday for $.92 Now its $.84! The prices on Amazon keepo changing.

I think I saw one of these at Goodwill a few weeks ago but didn't know what it was.
