No gifts question

As you know, George and I are planning our 1st/35th anniversary in October.

I've been trying to find out if it's correct to say "No gifts" or not for an anniversary. I do know it's not correct to say that in the formal invitation, but can't find anything about putting that on a "Save The Date" flyer. I've gotten various answers when I google that question, some of which say absolutely not, some say depends, and other answers say yes.

I thought I'd putt the following on the bottom of the flyer:

The presence of your company is the most wonderful gift of all.

There are other ways that I've found that say much the same thing.

Thoughts please?
