If it was me I would do complete fuel system clean up. Said this before with that many hours and years on it your fuel system is dirty and about to fail. I would Start at the tank. remove it, clean it out either by swabbing or pressure washing. rinse with gas or alky. Next I would replace all the fuel hoses, fuel filter, install shut off valve, replace the hoses after the fuel pump and the fuel pump vaccum hose. If you don't want to clean the carb. bowl and spray the main jet with carb. cleaner add some fuel system cleaner when you get it filled back up with fresh gas and clean system up to the carb. Also while I was in there I would also inspect the elect harness, switches, looking for loose hanging wires, chafed wires, rusty connections. plastic tie wrap any loose wiring that could get chafed or rubbed against moving parts. If you want it to last you need to do this very few years 6 is pressing it, but not bad depending on conditions you work your equipment in. I would also make sure I check the air filter often older vanguard are fussy with the small air filter between the cylinders. Now cylinders reminds me of cooling fins. have you checked them lately? Might want to revisit the owners manual on pre-ventive maintenance make sure you got all the bases covered. do that and that tractor may last life time???? another thing if you going by the 50 hour oil changes you better be mowing in dust free invoriment?? if not then 50 hours between oil changes is way too long hence extreme conditions in the owner maintenance schedule??

Unplugging any other USB mass storage devices from your computer. These kinds of devices include flash drives, cameras, photo frames etc. Keyboards and mice are not considered storage devices so if you have any of those plugged into your USB ports, they are ok to leave plugged in. 2. Powering your Pandigital Novel with the supplied AC adapter (please ignore this step and just be sure that your Pandigital Novel is fully charged before you attempt the upgrade process). 3. Connect your Pandigital Novel to your computer using the USB cable that was supplied with your device. 4. Power your Pandigital Novel on (your Novel will go into "PC Mode"\- this means that your Novel will be inoperable while connected to your computer). 12. Once you have completed these steps, please click on "Ok" to advance to the next step. 13. The Updater Application will then display a screen and ask you to confirm the details of your device (serial number, model number, etc.). Confirm these details by clicking on the "Confirm" button. 14. You will now begin the download process. (This process can take some time depending on your computer and your internet speed). 15. Once you have finished the download the screen will display that you have successfully downloaded the firmware update. At this point you will see another text box on appear on your screen giving you more instruction. These instructions will include: 1. Removing your Pandigital Novel device from your computer 2. Informing you that your Novel may or may not turn itself off, if it does not turn itself off, please power the Novel completely off by pressing the power button and choosing the "power off" option. 3. Now it will ask you to power your Novel back on in a very specific way. Please press the power and volume up button (located on the top of your device and is the + key) at the same time (not one and then the other, they must be pressed at the same time) for 10 seconds. Please do these steps until you see two lines of white text appear at the top of your screen that states the boot count and firmware version. As soon as you see these lines of text, let go of the power and volume + buttons. This should begin the update process in the form of a blue progress bar appearing at the bottom of the screen that will state things like "verifying update." If you have reached this screen your Novel is now updating properly. If you do not see this screen, please power your device off once more and try the activation process of holding the power and volume + buttons again. Do not be discouraged if this takes a few tries, and be sure you are holding the edge of the power + button; holding it too close to the middle will not activate the update. 4. Once the update is complete, please power off your Pandigital Novel completely, then reconnect the device to your computer using the USB cable and power it on after it is plugged in. 5. Click on "Ok". This will then run a process called a "restore". Once this has finished please disconnect your novel and once more perform the activation process of holding down the power and volume + buttons. You will again get another blue progress bar at the bottom of your screen when done correctly. 16. Congratulations! You have now updated your Pandigital Novel successfully! I have attached a new user manual for your use as the interface of your Novel has now changed to the most recent version. Hi everyone, Over the years I blended a few recipes for our tacos. First for those who fear the chipotle, don't worry, it's just in the chipotle tomatillo salsa. So you can substitute your own salsa Originally we just made onion and chard tacos which like the salsa came from everyday Mexican by Rick bayless. But one day we were over at my SILs house and she served a black bean sweet potato taco with a cabbage slaw. All very good, but missing my husbands favorite cheese topping and a little of the smoky heat of the salsa we like as she used a classic rojas sauced mixed with a cashew cream to flavor the potato mixture. I've included a link to her taco inspiration at the bottom. Anyway the next time we made our tacos we ended up adding roasted spiced sweet potatoes and continue to do so to this day.. Rick bayless's Carmelized onion and Swiss chard taco 2 bunches of Swiss chard, thick lower stems removed ( although if I'm not making soup in the future I will add the stems to the tacos and just add the stems first cook for about 5 minutes before I add the ribbons ) 1 1/2 tbl. oil, lard or bacon drippings ( adjust for your own dietary concerns, my vegan sil just cooks everything in a homemade veggie broth no oil) 1 1/2 large onions. thinly sliced 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped 1 tsp. red pepper flakes (add more or less depending on how spicy you like it) 1/2 cup chicken or vegetable broth (water works too) Salt 16-20 warm corn tortillas 1 cup (4 ounces) Queso Fresco or other fresh cheese such as feta or goat cheese Smoky Chipotle Salsa for serving (recipe below) Slice the chard into 1/2-inch ribbons. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion then cook until golden brown. To the onions add the red pepper flakes and garlic. Stir for about 20 seconds until you are hit with the aroma of the garlic then immediately add the broth or water, 1/2 teaspoon salt and the greens. Adjust the heat to medium-low then cover the skillet. Cook until the greens are almost tender. For Swiss chard this will be about 5 -7 minutes. ( in a pinch we've subbed beet greens and kale) Uncover the pan, adjust the heat to medium-high then cook until the juices have reduced significantly and merely glaze the greens. Taste and add salt if you think it needs it. Serve with the corn tortillas, crumbled fresh cheese and Chipotle salsa. Sweet potato addition: before starting greens : 2 large orange sweet potatoes or yams, cubed about 1" Juice from a lime (1/2 to 1 whole lime depending on your flavor preferences) Spices to taste: cumin, smoked paprika, chili powder 1/2 tbsp oil Place a rack in the center of the oven and preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Put sheet pan in oven while it preheats. Meanwhile in a bowl place the cubes of sweet potato, 1/2 tbsp of oil, dash of smoked paprika, dash of cumin, dash of chili powder and pinch of chili flakes, and lime juice. Toss together until all of the potato chunks are coated. Place on the preheated rack and return to oven. Bake until softened through and toasted brown. about 40 minutes. I usually flip the potatoes at 15 and 30 minutes to ensure even cooking. Remove from the oven and let stand when cooked through. Salsa: 3 garlic cloves, peeled 4 medium tomatillos, husked, rinsed and cut in half 2 canned chipotle chilies Place a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. If it is not a non-stick, Rick Bayless recommends placing a layer of aluminum foil on the bottom. Place the garlic and tomatillos (cut side down) in the skillet. After about 3-4 minutes the tomatillos should be well browned. Turn everything over and brown on the other side. After another 3-4 minutes the tomatillos should be completely soft. Place the garlic and tomatillos into a blender or food processor, along with the chilies and 1/4 cup water. Blend to a coarse puree. Taste and adjust for salt if you like. We don't particularly care for cilantro in our house but I'm sure others would prefer some in this salsa. Pour into a dish and let cool before serving. We tend to keep toppings very plain on these in just the salsa and a light dusting of really good quality cheese but top however you'd like. cece, names are very interesting. I am always intrigued by what names people choose for their children. I have a good friend who named her five kids names that are unnicknameable. She dislikes nicknames. Our family loves nicknames which morph into sillier and sillier ones at times, even for our pets. My nephew Noah is currently Noey-no,Noey-no calls cousin Stephanie Stephonya, and so forth. Stress Reading....for me it depends. Sometimes I need an escape and sometimes comfort. Going through major illnesses with children...I haven't had to endure that particular nightmare...possibly the Enquirer and the Globe would be all I could manage with that. Interesting that this topic came up. I was going to have my gallbladder out and my doctor decided to do a stress test as part of my pre-op workup. I failed it miserably and now I am going to have a cardiac catherization and stent placement next Tuesday instead. I am not unduly nervous, esp. since seeing my great cardiologist, and I have taken care of many pts. with stents and know several people who have had this done. Meanwhile I am out of work and reading fiction, still gettting through the Beverly Lewis Abram's Daughters series...book 4 with a Jane Langton mystery, a Lisa Wingate (new to me), and a Bachelor Brothers waiting in the wings.
