DH and I had a long day and neither was very hungry

Boys are out tonight, at different locations.
We went shopping, Walmart, Safeway, Kmart (closing in April, so everything is on sale) came home not in the mood to "cook" so...

He had a plate full of Safeway boneless wings.
I had left over broccoli cheese soup and some carrot sticks.

Might have a CC Cookie ice cream sandwich..

Looks like we were all scratching around to fill the void.....if we were hungry at all! I'm really in a mid winter slump, myself. It's been a very cold, dark winter, which is quite a bit different than the norm for this area. I'm not the least bit inspired to cook, that's for sure.

But for me, that's when I need to be the most careful about what I eat....my body is super sensitive to what goes in. I actually suffer after a
couple of days of junk food.

"Junk food ", to me, is anything made mostly of refined flours and sugar, and high quantities of sodium. Boohoo. Remember, this is MY body and how I react, not at all a condemnation of ready-made foods.
Hence, the homemade pizza instead of a gooey, loaded delivery pie.

Oh well.....tonight we'll have cauliflower soup (thanks for the inspiration, Patti) with diced ham.

This winter will be over soon, everybody! Spring, the favorite time of year for so many, is around the corner.
