Tomorrow is the Day!!! By my count, it looks like we'll have about 12 - 15 people here. The storm last night flattened the party tent. If we can't get it back up, we'll put the party in the pavillion under the pecan tree. There's still time for anyone within commuting distance to change their mind and decide to come. Shoot me an email through My Page on GW and I'll give you directions. I'm excited that we have a couple of new-comers this year! Hey - you should've been there! This was one of the best Gourd Shows I have been to. Lots of great classes, the new location was superb, lots of wonderful vendors and the gourd competitions were amazing! Have to brag tho that Michigan gourd artists took home over 60 ribbons! Awesome gourds! If you get a chance to get to a gourd show in your area take the time to travel and enjoy yourselves! When we get photos processed we will post them so you can see just what can be done with the humble gourds - you will be impressed! Happy Spring Rita in Michigan

Well, the decision has been made - Mom is not coming with us. Bummer! She doesn't want to leave DH that often in a short period of time, & he can't travel any distance at all. A 40 mi day trip doesn't even happen but rarely anymore. So, maybe next year. I'm loving the tree idea more & more as I read about all the ideas. This will be so cool! Am teaching one of my daycare little girls to sew. She has ADHD but when it comes to sewing, she could go forever. We may have hit upon a wonderful thing! At the moment she is at my side, bugging me to finish so we can get back to the sewing room. I shouldn't thwart such enthusiasm! Hope everyone is having a great week! And accomplishing more than I am - which wouldn't be hard, I can't seem to do anything that 'I' want to do :( ~Cindy
