Need Prayers and Good Thoughts

I would appreciate your prayers and good thoughts for my sister, Bonnie, as she goes to have a cancerous growth removed in the morning. It is on her nose and she is concerned as to how deep it is. She lives alone and I worry about her. Thanks in advance!

veleen and Vince my thoughts and prayer are with you. Veleen my Mom had the same eye problems be sure and ask your Dr what thing you can get from the government for help with your eyes. My mother rec books on tape as many as she wanted a month they send you the machine and the tapes free and you mail them back free they send you a list of all the books available all cities have this you could also check with you library and they would know what all you have to do to get started. It would be a good pass time for you both and then you could tell us what books to read. You will get you eye drops regulated and they pretty much can help you with the drops but be sure and take them I have had 6 weeks of treatment for my back on a spina table and it has done wonders for my back and also for my husband back. Check into spina tables with your Dr and I think you will find y our back much better. I will keep you in my daily prayers and hope to see you when I come to Westlake OH to see my big Sis I know Donna oh is also near there would be great to give you all a hug in person!!!!!!!!! praying for you now imabest

Thank you all. I felt such a calmness that I knew it had to come from the good thoughts. Well, the judge refused to hear our case today. We got all settled in the courtroom and our attorneys briefed the judge on our case and then she said she needed more information on our retirement accounts before she would continue. So, basically nothing happened. After we get the information she wants, they will give us a new trial date. So.... the drama continues. I do appreciate all of your good thoughts.

I watched this this morning, and shed a bucket of tears....it was so hard after the rough brooding of the eagle pair. I have to get a life, I think, as the Oregon nesting almost did me in! The nest was high in the Cascades, and parent sat on the nest through a blizzard, and snow covering her and the nest. She eventually realized the egg was not viable, and her keening cry was awful, even though I could not hear her. A pair of eaglets in California were attacked by a rogue eagle, but survived their tumble out of the nest. I'm so impressed with the biologists involved with this work

Areas of Houston flooding again.

What is hard to believe is Lubbock, TX has 10 inches of snow today! Unheard of. We were nice and dry in the new house. The creek crested just below top of bank. So thank goodness it stopped raining when it did. But several other creeks and bayous did go over the banks and they had flooding in those areas. I don't expect anything to change in this area. The millions of dollars they got to make changes is being used mostly in the city of Houston areas and not so much is allocated for those who are in the country and outside the city. It's a real shame. That's why I absolutely knew we had to move. It will continue to happen. They open the dams and they don't care about the people who are continually affected by the overflow. It's not fair. They should not be allowing builders to build subdivisions in those areas but they are still developing there. It was so sad last night on nextdoor trying to make the new residents who bought the flood houses understand what they were facing. I asked them did you get informed that the house you were buying was a flood house. Some of them were so clueless.

I will hope for good news for Bonnie, and will look for it when I get home tomorrow. We are driving my sister through a projected snowstorm (3 hours) to see the gyn.onc. to see if the spots are cancer. She lives alone and her life has been severely curtailed by health issues. I would appreciate prayers for her. Her name is Linda and she is very scared.

Sending good thoughts for Bonnie and Linda. Cancer is scary, BUT with all the good treatments can be helped. DH and I both know this as he is going thru additional treatments for his.
