I must have heard only the good things about her. She's close to her family, and, with her husband, adopted a baby girl from Korea, where her own adopted sister was born. I believe the baby had a heart defect, which was treated after the adoption. I forget the baby's name, but it's unusual because it's a combination of Heigl's mother and sister. She and her husband adopted another baby as well. Plus she is a strong advocate for animals, which I greatly appreciate. Alfre Woodard is also in "State of Affairs;" I like her too. Yes, I'll watch--if I remember. I'm famous for forgetting to watch the beginning, or (more likely) watching the first couple of episodes and then forgetting. ;-)

Jasdip, I just have a cheap inside antenna. Some of my friends in the county pick up more stations than I do. I also can't pick up our local ctv station in my living room which I find strange but when I had a television in the bedroom I used to be able to get it a 5 am. I got rid of cable in 2004, my neighbour bought me the analog box and the antenna years before the stations changed and set it up for me. I couldn't believe the all the new stations that appeared. I am in a good location. I am always scanning for new stations. I get better reception and more stations than some of the people i know who are paying for cable or digital and they don't get any of the local Detroit stations. I just think of all that money I didn't give to the cable company haha it now goes to Bell for my internet

I am still trying to catch up on shows...Castle I'll catch soon...with 10 shows to watch you can tell I got bored with it...have really enjoyed Scandal, The Black List, HTGAWM, sooo many shows...sooo little time but my TIVO has lots of room and some of the networks have a skip feature which with the push of one button rids all the commercials...Although I do admit to liking some of the commercials...Think Suburu dog commercials and basically anything with a dog!!...must keep this post going cause there is gonna come a time when I'm looking for something to watch...Netflix is gearing up with some good ones as well as Amazon Prime!! I loved Simon Baker in The Guardian...have season one of the mentalist on DVD and have watched a few shows here and there... I loved Person of Interest...his whispering voice seems to be part of the persona of his character...he is such a good actor with so many places to go...I missed the show and am glad they are wrapping things up... I'm still not over Downton being gone and now their wrapping up Mr. Selfridge...I watched Poldark last year and am hoping there is more to that show on PBS...

I don't think most of mine start next month, but: Homeland The Affair The Americans Rectify Billions: this one is not my favorite as I can't stand most of the actors, but I am loyal to Damian Lewis who I loved in Homeland and in The Forsyte Saga, so I will watch it. Bloodline The Fall (BBC) Gee, just typing that list out made me eager. I just rewatched all of Homeland to prepare for the next season and heard today it won't start until January :(
