I love the supper you had Shirley. I did not want to take time cooking much so I just had a big baked potato, some yogurt and a big glass of milk. Nice enough weather I guess today, the sun could have stayed out longer. More snow to come tonight.

Should be fun, and no messed up kitchen for me.

I'm having leftover spinach ravioli with marinara sauce. Maybe I'll cook up some veggies to go with it. DH is having a hamburger and salad.

I've been soaking the cedar plank for a piece of salmon. Will probably cook up some brown rice cooked with onions and broth, and a batch of my creamy coleslaw with dill.

Sue: I love potatoes, so your meal with yogurt and milk sounds just fine to me.

OldFixer: Is sauerkraut the only thing for your meal? I'd have to add pork and potatoes...lol.

Hounds: you have the best meal. It's free and no fixing, no cleanup. Enjoy the party.

Georgysmom: I'll take either of the foods you're fixing. Haven't tried spinach ravioli, but would like to sometime if someone else fixes it.

Rhizo: Cooking salmon on a plank has always interested me. I like the sounds of your sides too.

There are 6 hot and spicy buffalo wings and a fried breast heating in the oven for BD...Kamren and I are going to have a chopped salad...I think BBQ.. flavored...

I had Panera Bread broccoli/cheese soup. I just love that stuff. It is salty though.

We went out for breakfast, and when we came home hubby wanted to see the Men's hockey, so he set the ironing board in front of the tv and ironed our shirts. He enjoys ironing. :-)

I did chicken breasts in a skillet with roasted red peppers, tomatoes and shredded cheese at the end. Delicious and a keeper for sure. Baked potatoes and sauteed broccoli.

Terri: I'm sure whatever your dinner ends up being will be a very good meal.

Patti: I've never had Panera Bread but I know I love broccoli cheese soup. Wish they could/would make a good tasting low sodium one though.

Cheryl: I'll take that meal at least once a week. It always makes the house smell good too.

Lkgrace: I've never had snapper but I bet I'd love it. An all around good meal.

Kellan ended up eating cheese nachos.

Kamren and I had a SW chopped salad. Romaine, chicken, black beans, corn, bell peppers and cilantro. Crumbled tortilla chips tomatoes and avocado were added..all tossed with my ranch dressing with lime juice and taco season stirred in. Lots of left overs!

I have never ate at Panera's ..so can't compare..
But a few weeks back I made a yummy and quick Broccoli Cheese soup.

I made mezzo penne pasta with shrimp, asparagus and mushrooms in a parmesan cream sauce. Again like yesterday an avocado half with balsamic vinaigrette as a starter salad.

The best part is there's enough left over for a couple of lunches over the next few days.

Shirley, I got the ravioli at Costco. It's organic spinach with cheese and very delicious. They were demonstrating it on Tuesday. I made my own marinara sauce. An easy meal.

dh was at a fund raiser bowling day/dinner so I had raisin toast for dinner! better today (sunday)...bought some sams club lean ground beef...so burgers
