Dawn, I appreciate the concern. Like you said it really was a dangerous system but died almost as quick as it built up. If you looked at it on animation on radar less than 30 minutes after it showed up as a green speck there was lots of red and tornadoes. And 45 minutes after that it was dead. It was one if you had looked out and didn't see anything and waited 15 minutes it was close. By the time the weather services got the warning out it was staring to lose strength. I don't blame them as it built so fast no way to anticipate it. As far as I know the one that touched down was over open ground and didn't hurt anything. Will hear more tomorrow I'm sure. We never got more than a few sprinkles out of all of it. Looks like some decent rain east and north of us. One thing for certain is we are a day closer to when it will come. But missing so many good chances starts getting a little depressing. Thanks again for the concern and advice. At times during dry spells we don't respect weather enough. Jay

Barb...both happy and sad....Happy he is moving forward with his life. Knowing he will go far as long as he stays focused on his studies, and learns to quit being so wasteful. Sad because he is moving on and we will be seeing very little of him in the next 4 years or so. We havent made any new life adventures yet. House needs some TLC. I suppose first we will get used to having a home with just us and the critters and go from there. Chell I used to be a dog and cat groomer. I loved it too. But my employer was a deedeedee. Never had the money to pay me each week and always "owed" me. And she never gave me my tips either.Then at the end of the year she reported more earnings for me than what I had really made.Fortunitly I kept records and proved my case and won, so make sure you don't let the same happen to you. I have kept my clippers, blades and accessories and still will do a neighbors dog or two once in awhile to keep my skills up.....but don't miss the hair stuck in places I did'nt know existed....lol. I get overwhelmed by the task of finding someone to make repairs to stuff, and so I put it off. Fortunately, and unfortunately, I don't really have any good jewelry. "fortunately," because then I don't have that much guilt from having valuable pieces going used; "unfortunately" bcs I feel that i can't take costume jewelry to a real jewelers' for repair nor do I feel I should spend much money on fixing it, and it if WERE truly valuable jewelry, I would probably have taken in already. I love pins--the way they look. The idea of them. But in actuality, I don't like wearing them--the clothes I wear aren't strong enough to hold up against them, etc. I know you can sometimes simply clip them to a chain; maybe I'll experiment with that.
