Wow, what has Yahoo done now??

Wow, they changed their home page just in the last hour.
Yuck!!! Busy, busy, and hard to navigate.

I hate how the bits of article hovers over the pictures, and you have to scroll down and down to read anything and it's so small and crowded.

My page hasn't changed...but I didn't go with the new yahoo...I picked the basic instead. It's pretty much the same as the old one.

I am using an internet connection by AT & T. They are marketing Yahoo! for email. I did not notice any big changes in my email page, but last week, the service was a mess. It was not working part of the time. Thankfully, It was "cured" this week.

I love you all for your kindness!! It is definitely becoming a reality being there everyday. Sadly enough we have yet to unpack and put everything away, mostly clothes CLOTHES CLOTHES goodness, who knew I bought my kids so many clothes and toys!!! My DH keeps telling me to relax we'll get it done but of course I have OCD!! :) We havent even put tp holders, towel racks, mirrors or robe hooks up yet :(. But my DH did get the last blind put in this past weekend so I guess I will cut him some slack.. I think my ceiling heights range from 10-13 feet throughout the house. Everyone enjoy and just know that some how, some way through all the stressfull, emotional roller coaster filled days, that in the end, you will look back and smile as if those days were distant memories. Beth, Congrats on getting so-o-o-o close. Your PB should be able to let you know how many gallons you have. Water testing on a salt pool vs a non-salt pool is identical except that you need to do a salt test from time to time to be sure the amount of salt in your pool is correct...basically, you're double-checking your saltwater chlorine generator's (SWCG) read-out. Muriatic acid lowers your water's pH when it gets too high and that happens on a regular basis with a SWCG. MA can be purchased at a Lowe's or Home Depot-type store. It's generally cheaper purchased there rather than at a pool store. A drops-based test kit is the kind to look for, if your PB doesn't supply you with one. Poolforum.com is a great site to go to. Read everything you can there. Unfortunately, registrations have been closed there for some time, so you can't post at the present time. Another site that I've linked below, has many of the same members as PoolForum. You CAN register and post on that site, so it's the way to go. You'll still advice from some of the really knowledgeable people from PoolForum. They also are selling what looks to be a top-notch test kit (a very similar version of the excellent kit PoolForum used to sell - I have one of those and wouldn't have a pool without it!). Love the Butler's pantry off the kitchen which also has the all freezer unit, 8 drawers and 2 cabinets - tons of storage Love the big all freezer and all fridge units although not the brand originally purchased. Love the filtered hot and cold water dispenser. Love the sink so deep you can't see the dirty dishes unless you're right on top of it. With a dishpan also makes a great bath tub for the puppy LOL Love having 2 Dishwashers and love that they are SOOOO quiet Love my floating bar and that my kids can talk to me while doing homework and I'm making dinner LOVE having a computer in the kitchen (Love my new MacGourmet program too) Love the Magic corner units - I have so much extra space Love the toekick drawers Love my can drawers Love all my drawers - the 2 36" drawers are amazing for storing pots and baking stuff Love my pot rack in the cupboard Love having no smells - yeah venthood Love the pull through trash which opens from either side of the peninsula Love my WORKING Double Ovens Love my pull out pantry Most of all LOVE the ease with which it all works together One year later what I wish I had done differently: * Put one DW closer to the prep area instead of having both in the clean up area * Put in a back splash instead of waiting - it may never get done * Put in a whole house water filter instead of just the drinking water * Sacrificed one upper cabinet for bigger windows. I had so little storage before and I was so scared of not having enough in this kitchen that I went with storage over a window. Even though the window I have now is bigger than the old one, a bigger one would have been even nicer * Chosen a better brand of fridge and freezer. Our GE Monogram all fridge freezer unit will shortly be replaced with Miele units

We have the Toto Ultimate and the Toto Aquia. The Ultimate is a much better toilet than the Aquia, although I do love that one-piece skirt, LOL. You should check out the CR test results. Our plumber service (who we have on retainer, after 3 successive TP clogs on two sewer lines), highly recommend the American Std Champion. Jas, it has something to do with the size of your font you set your computer at.

Same thing happens to me to quite a few websites.

To change your font size. At the top right of your screen, click on tools, then click on zoom to change the size. I keep mine at 125%. hth

Or you can click on "control" and the "+" sign to make it bigger, "-" to make it smaller, don't even have to leave the page or move your cursor :) Depends on the site, but I typically have mine at 150%. I'm getting older by the second. I feel like, some day, it'll be so big that I'll have to read it one letter at a time.

Guys it has nothing to do with the font size. I know how to do that. The whole page has changed. Honestly, I'm not kidding.

There's a Feedback page, and people are complaining. It just happened about 10 pm last nite.

I think the two people reporting changes are Canadian, so maybe the change is just with that page?

Mine looks the same, as annoying as ever. One thing I notice is that when I delete an email, it takes a second to respond. So, I hit delete a second time and end up deleting an email I wanted to save, so I have to go to the Trash folder and retrieve it.

But Yahoo isn't the same there? You mean, ca.yahoo.com? Ok... So, I typed that in and it looks like Yahoo looks here. Maybe they rolled it out later than they did here. That is, it did change, but it's been a bit since it rolled out here, I think?

Jas are you talking about the yahoo.com page or the actual yahoo mail page? I think that may be what is confusing some.
I see some differences in the yahoo.com page but I don't go there often so don't know when they happened.

Since the change in my Yahoo mail, I have not been able to get any emoticons, italics or the bold, to work. Any suggestions?
