We had Beer Braised Beef and Mushrooms, Spaetzle, Carrots, Celery and Pecans sautéed in butter with a little dill weed and leftover trifle.

Left over brisket rice and gravy and black eyes from yesterday.

Salmon broiled w/orange sauce and capers, boiled small red potato creamers w/butter and parsley , and steamed asparagus sauteed in grape oil and herbs.
Leftover apple pie.

We are having a pot roast maybe, it's almost too late to eat a big meal. It's been in the crock pot all day and smells delish :-)

Worked today and then went grocery shopping.

Such a rainy day! Our day trip plans foiled due to bad driving conditions, darn it. Instead, we did some organizing.....collecting items in closets and drawers and cupboards to donate. Yay! I'm happiest about the kitchen; we sure did PURGE in there. It's a remarkable feeling, and I recommend it for everyone.

ANYway, we were happy to have leftover hoppin' john, baked chicken with a spicy bbq sauce, and a fresh batch of collard greens.

Friday we were in the process of traveling home from Maine to Virginia. So dinner was a smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwich I made from leftovers in the kitchen, and ate in the Boston airport after our first flight, followed by a second course of a half of a 6" quiche lorraine and a half of a disappointing chocolate croissant in the Charlotte airport after the second flight, followed by a third flight, and arriving home at midnight.

We went out for Mexican. I had taken out salmon and DH was going to cook it, but we both felt a little under the weather and couldn't deal with the thought of fish.
